“Cinnamon Rolls”
Reviewed 26 February 2013

We love breakfast at the locals spot Hideaway Cafe. It is a super tiny restaurant with only 10 or so tables. We always sit outside and always order a cinnamon roll! They are huge and filling but oh my -worth it! They biscuit-like and so good.

“Great Old School Breakfast Place”
Reviewed 3 January 2013

This is the secret spot all we locals know in Solana Beach. Great omelettes, hash browns, cinnamon rolls laden with butter, and basica American breakfast. Always hits the spot, prices are right, and you leave satisfied. Tiny place with just a few tables so get there early.

“Oh, those pastries!”
Reviewed 21 December 2012

So glad we found this place tucked away and off season. Wonderful breakfast and the cherry Danish was unlike anything I have ever tasted! Friendly welcoming service, too! Will definitely plan a return trip!

“Best Breakfast ever!”
Reviewed 14 November 2012

Love this little dive! The breakfast is fabulous, made like your grandmother would make. Love the banana french toast. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge. Coffee is good and the service is just perfect ... sweet ladies making and serving you food. Its a must every time I am in the area.

“No place like it”
Reviewed 12 November 2012

This was once a garage. Now a small breakfast & lunch spot that has excellent food. It is a favorite for breakfast, especially on a warm day when you can eat outside. The owner and wait staff take pride in this place.
