We had a room on the 2nd floor of the hotel. In the middle of the night, the furnace produced vibrating sound and we were unable to sleep. We mentioned it to the receptionist the following morning. All we got was "sorry for the inconvenience" response.

Hello, I am very sorry to hear about the noise during your stay. We have our maintenance team looking into this and I have coached my front desk staff to address these issues immediately. I believe we have been communicating via email and I look forward to having you back in for a memorable stay. Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about your stay.

What a delightful surprise this Inn was. Although it has the Danish town appearance outside, inside it is like walking in to a lovely french country inn. All wood floors, 14 rooms and you can actually pick the room you want....how often does that happen? I think this place was rehabbed a very short time ago. Mostly soothing grey and lovely wallpaper with shutters on the windows, fireplaces in the room, great beds and small but adequate bathrooms. You receive a bottle of wine from the owners Vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley and two bottles of water complimentary. You also get a free breakfast in their charming small breakfast room. Rooms, hallways, etc. are decorated with french furniture, french artwork and artifacts and chandeliers! A real surprise and such a gem!

Room tip: We booked room 3 which had a bath and shower combo, two Wing Back chairs to sit, large big TV, free internet, parking and breakfast.

This place is awesome. Nice rooms in a clean and fun property. You're right in the heart of "downtown" Solvang and can easily walk to tasting rooms, restaurants, bars, and shops. The restaurant located on the first floor is expensive but high quality.

The hotel/old mansion is gorgeous and has an open central atrium with a staircase and laminate wood floors. The doors to the rooms all look out on the open staircase and reception below. You can hear every word of the guests and employees below and every footfall as they walk the staircase or walk above you. The restaurant noise also filters up til after 11 or whenever the last drunk guest leaves. Seriously the noisiest place I’ve ever stayed.
The building is charming and I liked the look of the furniture (four poster bed, antique style), gas fireplace and shutters. The dark gray laminate floors also look good and feel much cleaner than carpet would. The room is small. Not much other than the Big king bed (a plus) and dining type chair fits in there. They do have a lounge upstairs if you want to sit somewhere. The bathrooms are old and dated, kinda of early 80s and not antique charming old.
Reception was very nice, though super chatty and loud and the employees talk to each other constantly so there’s no peace in the room.
Location is on a pretty dead block, but only a block to the great shopping areas of Solvang.

We went to Solvang to visit some wineries. We found the Mirabelle Inn to be first class in all ways .. from the staff to the room to the dining experience. Although we arrived very early we were told our room was ready so we were able to check in. We found a bottle of wine in our room which was a nice gesture. We then did a quick tour of the town prior to having a great dinner at First and Oak. The inn set us up for a tour of 4 wineries the next day and we were picked up at the inn. The tour was as nice as the rest of our experience with the inn. We'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Solvang area,
