“Danish delight”
Reviewed 10 October 2013

First of all the Danish pancakes with freshly made raspberry preserves and they were great. They come in threes and so being three of us--we shared as a dessert..Danish sausage with Danish tilsit cheese and the open face Danish sandwich were tasty as were the cucumber and the potato salad. The server was excellent and the atmosphere pleasant. However the beverage person was not knowledgeable when asked about local beers listed on the menu. She said she did not know anything about them.

“Angry Servers”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

I've been here a few times and each time my experience with the servers has been horrible. You're not greeted and the waitresses appear to be angry about working there. They make you feel as if you're being their is such an inconvenience. I'm sorry but if you hate your job that much than get a new one, but don't take it out on those who's patronage pays your salary. Food is good but service is lousy...pass this place up!

“Walk Up Window: slow, product is okay”
Reviewed 24 September 2013

This is a review for the walk up window (noted above). There was a line at the window for abelskevers that was about 20 people long. I waited about 15 minutes, dodging people trying to get in to a nearby sock store (which looked like a good place to buy gifts, so many socks!) There were no employees expediting the line or the orders. When I got o the front of the line, the staff started taking my order almost immediately, no thank you for the wait. The baked good tasted like a McD's McGriddle shaped into a ball. The sauce was good, like a strawberry topping for ice cream. There were three balls for $3.40 which was a very good value. I might order one tray at $3.40 for an entire family, so everyone can try it, and then buy everyone baked goods at the pastry shop next door.

“Little slice of old school”
Reviewed 17 September 2013

Came for lunch on a hot summer day. Had the pumpernickel bread plate, five slices of bread piled high with different toppings, cheese, meat. It was geared toward a European lunch, it was a nice change. My wife also like her sandwich. Service was good and friendly but not over the top. I will go back to give it a second try.
