Auberge Sonoma
Reviewed 18 March 2013

My husband and I stayed in room #155 with two of our good friends and had an amazing time. The place was so gorgeous and had everything we could possibly want in a place. We went to Sonoma for the Savor Sonoma wine festival as we have for almost 20 years and this was the best place we have ever stayed in! Beds were so comfortable and the upper deck was perfect. Easy walk to the square too. We will be coming back hopefully soon! Loved it!

Room Tip: Room 155 is very spacious.

We stayed in the upper unit (#155) for the entire month of January. Bryon could not be more helpful, from the reservations to the arrival, totally professional. The location is PERFECT if
you want the best access to dining, shops and of course the grocery. We almost stayed in Yountville and now we are sooooo glad we choose Sonoma. The unit was clean and beds were
great and if you are a cook, you will not be disappointed with the kitchen area. Also a big plus
the porch was a wonderful bonus. If you are coming in the spring/summer and fall, I am sure you
will use this area everyday. It almost doubles your space for reading, dining and having a great
glass of wine outdoors. I'm sure we will return to the Auberge next winter. Just loved it!!!!

Adding our voice to the chorus of excellent reviews. Stayed in 153 with another couple. Smart, tasteful decor; we wanted for nothing! Perfect location off the Square. Biscotti, coffee, wine passport were nice treats. Loved relaxing on the private back porch in the afternoon. While we did not cook, the kitchen was very well appointed. We will return--so please, don't tell anyone about this fab place.....we don't want Auberge to become too popular!

Room Tip: 153 is lower level, rear.

We stayed in Suite 155 (two couples) for two nights in Sept 2012. This property has everything you could possibly need. The location is wonderful. Byron was very helpful and accessible if any issues were to arise. The beds and bedding were the most comfortable we slept in during a 3 week coastal trip from Alaska to Monterey. Convenience of washer/dryer was appreciated and came in handy. Internet access was great! If visiting Sonoma in the future, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. This is perfection.....especially loved the large wrap around porch and fireplace. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

A group of us 3 gals needed a quick getaway from the city, and this little gem was the perfect answer. Karen welcomed us and made us feel right at home immediately. The place is so comfortably and tastefully decorated, leaving you wanting nothing but more time to enjoy it all. You can basically swing your bag and hit about a dozen neat little stores and restaurants before even getting to the end of the block! I loved this place, I will be coming back again soon.

Room Tip: The upstairs has a nice deck, the front has the cute street-facing porch, the rear has the privacy...

Great location, block away from square/plaza, well equipped kitchen with ALL appliances and gadgets, lounge area, verandah, double bathroom but shower only, great water pressure means great showers, but you hear the neighbours water too! We were #153 on ground floor. Managed remotely by email and PIN codes for security doors. Serviced between rentals.

Room Tip: #153 is ground floor.

This was a great location for our first visit to Sonoma. We stayed in the back apartment which is two bath and bedrooms. The place was well stocked with supplies (kitchen, bath, laundry supplies etc). It had a wonderful porch with a dining table and also a lounge area. The first night we ate Red Grape take out on the porch and each night we reflected on the days adventures in the outdoor living space. The location is awesome. We were one block from Sonoma plaza and four blocks from Whole foods. It was easy to walk around to the visit wineries, the cheese store, restaurants, and downtown shopping. This is a great place to stay in Sonoma.
