We stayed here the last night of our honeymoon. We let them know ahead of time it was our honeymoon and they had balloons on our room waiting for us. I enjoy B&B's for the personal feel and my husband is used to staying at Marriott's. Even he enjoyed his stay here. We we were able to check in early which was great. We stayed in Room 13 on the second floor which had a small terrace and electric fireplace. The room itself was decorated in a bright french country style (but not too feminine). We didn't mind our room faced the back of the building. The bathroom was a very nice size for a B&B bathroom and we also liked the BeeKind products placed in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information for wineries, using their bikes (which we did) and restaurant recommendations. We did return for the 5-6:30pm apps hour which had two wines (one white and one red) along with cheese, crackers, grapes, etc. There is a small terrace out front to sit on which we did as the weather was very nice that afternoon. Very relaxing. We also stayed for the breakfast the following morning which included juice, coffee, quiche, hash browns, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, cereal, etc. We did not leave hungry (and was happy they offered to-go cups for hot beverages). They also kept a cookie jar filled with cookies on the table when you walk in the door. There is an outdoor hot tub on the second floor - it looked very nice but we didn't use it. The price may seem a little high but when you factor in the location (a quick walk to Sonoma square and close to several wineries), the apps hour and the breakfast we felt it was a very good value. We would stay here again and would recommend it to family/friends.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and loved it. It was great to be able to walk into Sonoma square for some amazing dinners (some of the best we had down the west coast). Lovely breakfasts to be had out in the square as well.

The staff didn't seem to think you could walk to any of the good vineyards, but they are only about 1 or 2 miles away, and easily walkable. Its just the american way to seem to drive everywhere

They had amazing service and the wine and cheese evenings were great - as were the cookies!

A lovely little hotel in a great location. Quiet as it's set back from the road and a two minute walk to the square. The rooms at the front of the hotel benefit from very nice patios. Room 11 has a fantastic balcony. And the staff very helpful. If I were to visit Sonoma again I'd definitely stay here again.

Stayed two nights - rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fabulous - loved the breakfast quiche. Wine and cheese in the early afternoon made for a relaxing stay. Staff was great at recommending local wineries to visit. Somona Market should be on the list just to cruise the deli counters. We picked up a nice picnic lunch there and enjoyed later at the Bartholomew Park Winery - a must see also.

Lovely place, great location, good rooms.
Problem is, if you get allocated a room on the back of the B and B, it's like looking out on the Berlin Wall, or to be totally correct, a 10 ft hedge, right out side your ground floor room.
Try to get rooms 9,10, 11, to the left of the B and B, as you face the front, on the second floor, or rooms 19, 18, or 17, which are to the right of the B and B, as you face the front, on the second floor.
These rooms get the majority of a days sunshine, and are worth every cent of the asking price.
The rooms on the back are over- priced, even though the place is in a great location for Sonoma Plaza.

Room Tip: Request 2nd floor, on the front of the B and B. as first choice. Ground floor front as second choic...

We stayed here for 3 nights. Homemade breakfast every morning was delicious and wine and cheese our every evening was fun to relax with. Our room with fireplace and private balcony was wonderful to sit outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful with great suggestions for restaurants, spas, wineries to visit and anything else you needed help with. The Inn is very clean, well kept, tucked privately off the street, has many places to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. There is no pool but a nice hot tub on the 2nd floor. I will definitely stay here again! We had a wonderful stay!!

Room Tip: Room on the 2nd floor had private balconies and were very quiet and relaxing

We stayed for one night before driving back to San Francisco at the end of our three-week trip. It proved to be an excellent way to end our visit. The hotel is comfortable and welcoming, the room and bathroom spacious and the service second to none. We were particularly appreciative that we were allowed access to a staff computer to check and print out our boarding passes for the flight home. The receptionist also helped us choose a restaurant for our evening meal and booked the table for us (just as well, it was crowded). She is an asset to the hotel! The wine and cheese in the early evening was an added bonus, and the breakfast was also very good.

The hotel is well situated - we went for a stroll around the square before setting out - and if we find ourselves back in Sonoma we will definitely stay here again.
