Cline was our first stop on our way into Sonoma County, at the recommendation of a colleague. As other reviewers have said, the grounds are lovely, and the tasting room staff very nice and accommodating. The wines are very affordable, which is nice, but nothing particularly knocked our socks off. I would recommend highly if you are a relative newbie to the wine world or wine tasting, but if you've got some experience, there are other places you'll find more to your liking.

Nice property and great for larger groups. Wines are fine, reasonably priced and plentiful! Busy with buses and lots of people.

...is one of the best everyday wines I've had. Since visiting Cline Cellars in March 2014, I've purchased more than 2 cases from them directly.

We stopped by Cline winery because I wanted to see the mission museum and a winery new to us. The grounds are very nice - ponds, birds, picnic tables, and foliage. There were 2 bus tours there at the time we visited, but they were served outside in a special tasting. The tasting room/ gift store was still very crowded. Wines were OK - but the astounding thing was that the tastings were free (extremely rare these days!). Good spot to stop by.

This was our favorite winery in Sonoma Valley (of the three we visited), because of the very nice and large garden with many trees and several pools (with turtles) and the informal atmosphere. The wine was also not as expensive as in other wineries. Recommended.
