This is one of my favorite little inns in Sonoma! It is the perfect way to affordably enjoy the Wine Country and still feel pampered.
It's a great value for the money -- whether you want a family trip or a couple's get-away or a girls weekend (which is what we did).
The location is fantastic -- steps from the charming Sonoma square and many great restaurants.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and comfortable, and the courtyard area with pool, hot tub and evening wine tasting could not have been more pleasant.
I highly recommend this hotel, and can't wait to go back myself!

The hotel is conveniently located near Sonoma square. As with many Best Westerns' the motel is dated in design and decoration-tired, but with an above average price/day This one in particular also is trying to emulate the airlines-it has an automatic $1.95/day charge for a in room safe. The "breakfast" is a check off card with a tray of prepackaged (small) goods which may be found at breakfast time-think one banana or apple as the most edible selection! If you should wish to have a real breakfast walk across the street to the Black Bear Diner. Each morning we went to the lobby for fresh coffee-only to find the dispense/potr empty. I felt that we were " nickeled and dimed" for substandard service and extras-just like on the airlines--you can do better with one of the other lodging choices.

A great location, just 2 blocks off of Sonoma Square. This is a lovely little inn with fireplaces in the room, some rooms even have jacuzzis. Our room just had a fireplace, but was roomy and comfortable. There was a little terrace overlooking the pool area that had a couple of chairs where you could sit and enjoy the fresh air. One of the great parts of the room that it included breakfast deliverd each morning. You had your choice of bagels, muffins cereals, some fruit, juice and coffee. The food was pretty good. There was a coffee maker in the room, so instead of delivering coffee to you, they just sent a packet for you to make your own coffee, which was not very good. However in th lobby they always had Starbuck's coffee made, as well as ice tea and tea bags. The hotel had a decent size pool as well as hot tub and sauna. Also a fire pit to help on those chilly Sonoma nights.

The room was clean and comfortable, I would defiitely stay here again.

We had a very attractive and spacious room with a fireplace and a patio that opened to a courtyard with a nice seating area and a wood fire heater to warm it on chilly nights. Yes, we had chilly nights when we were there in July. A very charming place, located an easy walk to everything we wanted to do downtown.

Very nice, clean hotel just 2 blocks from the Square. Room was large, clean and easily slept our family of 5. My son said that the rollaway was the best he ever slept on. Pool was small and cold for a "heated" pool, but the hot tub was nice as was the fire pit in the courtyard. Staff was friendly. We did not try the free breakfast as we were spending the entire day at Point Reyes and wanted a more substantial meal, which we got at the Black Bear restaurant across the street (wonderful meal!).

The only negative was the room got very stuffy during the night, and the AC was too noisy to use. I did not feel comfortable sleeping with the sliding door open as we were on the ground floor, so ended sitting on the porch outside reading for half the night so the door could stay open and cool the room off. Not a big deal, and given that the courtyard can only be accessed through the front desk or one of the other rooms, we were likely very safe, but I would never be able to sleep with the door open.

Overall, a great choice for a visit to the wine country.
