“Clean and quiet”
Reviewed 5 September 2013

We were working in the area on the Yosemite Fire. We kept moving from area to area and we spent one night at the Aladdin. It was very quiet and the rooms had great beds . Plenty of towels and soap. A great flat screen TV. The AC unit was quieter then most.
The only thing we had a full size work truck so it was a little tricky parking in the lot. It was designed for smaller cars.

Room Tip: Always get one on the off highway side. This place sits up on a small hill so the highway noise is n...

Convenient to gold adventure we were planning, decent place if somewhat outdated. Room was clean, a prime consideration, and quiet. Breakfast was OK, had to leave small, crowded lobby to eat breakfast in room. Pool was great and fun for kids, hot tub too. WiFi was good and price was reasonable, increased by $20 the second night for a Friday night stay. One washer and dryer were available and at $1 each, plus $1 for detergent from the desk, nice to have a clean load of clothes for $3 after an hour. A meal in Jamestown, a short distance away was delicious.

I carelessly booked a smoking room via priceline.com. When checking in, I realized this mistaken and requested to replace a non-smoking room. The front desk staff was busy and simply said:"No, no non-smoking room available".

The room smell gross and carpet stained and worn. It seems that room never get any redecoration since the building completed. I expected that opening the window and door as well as turning on fan of air conditioner could get some help for fresh air in the room. It didn't work. Peoples of next rooms were smoking outside. I couldn't sleep well due to the odor smell of the smoking room. Breakfast was typical free motel meal. Customers were crowed in a conner of lobby for breakfast.

The annual Spyder Ryde was held here this August, The staff were efficient and helpful. The hotel is in a good spot to go over to Yosemite. the price , considering it was high season was great. The breakfast was simple, but real honest to goodness donuts, something even the Marriott do not serve..

Simple motel. Big room with free wifi, fridge, tv and air conditioner.
Good bed, clean and spacious room. Bathroom with tub.
There is a pool there but i didn't use it.
Breakfast was very simple and the place was crowded.
Stayed there came from yosemite to San Francisco. Better price I found in that location.

We stayed 1 night here. Arived too early but is was no problem for the desk operator Donna. Within minutes we were booked in and got our keycards for our rooms. A few minutes later we were at the nice swimmingpool with a cold drink from the mini market nextdoor. The vending machines provided us our meal for the night, the have microwave meals with good taste. This motel is nice, clean and the rooms are big. Sure we wanted to stay longer but we went on with our trip. Again staff, thanks for having us, and perhaps untill another time.

I read very good reviews of this Motor Inn on Trip Advisor and decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did. My husband was playing music in Twain Harte, CA and we traveled 6 miles to rest overnight.

This is an Historic Inn that served as lodging for the railroad workers while they built the railroad in the mountains here (4,000 feet elevation). The owners have only restored the outside to retain the historic appearance, but the inside is fully remodeled and of exceptional quality for the price.

Everything was immaculate and the pillow top beds (2 queen) were exceptionally comfortable. Even the foam(?) bed pillows were better than most. The shower was fantastic with great shower pressure and tons of hot water. I was amazed at how well placed everything was for such a small bathroom space. There is no clothes closet in the room but there are high quality hangers on a wood block near the door and plenty of drawer space. The air conditioner unit is very efficient and much quieter than most.

The lighting is a bit dim in the room and the TV was smaller than many of us are used to, but the picture is bright and clear. Besides there is so much to explore outside in the area that TV might not be so necessary. My opinion.

I highly recommend this Inn. I bet you won't be disappointed.

The continental breakfast is a bit better with more selections than even higher priced accommodations. It's a bit high on the carbs but aren't most of these types of free breakfasts?

Room Tip: The 2nd. floor is supposed to be the nonsmoking floor. We had a bottom floor non smoking room and th...
