While the food was good, and the service extremely attentive, the price just didn't justify what we received. I had lunch as a part of a fairly good-sized group, so that we were seated in what appeared to be a cleaned-up alley between a pair of brick buildings. There was an atrium roof in place to keep out the elements, so that it does have character. Everything on the lunch menu appears to also appear on the dinner menu, the difference being the price. Dinner costs a few dollars more. Lunch entree's all start in the lower double digits.

Great service from the moment we walked in....our water glasses were never empty. The food was delicious and well priced. The seafood salad (Insalata Di Mare) was full of seafood and plenty for two people to share with a dinner. The pasta dish I ordered (Capellini Primavera) was full of fresh veggies and very good. A nice relaxing restaurant in a quiet part of town with parking directly in front.

We have been enjoying the food at Briganti for some years. Don't know what to recommend more, the homemade pasta dishes, the fish or the chicken marsala. The food here never disappoints and the prices are very reasonable. For what you would pay for just an entree' at other restaurants, you'll be able to enjoy an appetizer (shared), an entree' (NOT shared), desert and a good bottle of wine. A hidden jewel!

Briganti is the best, consistent Italian food in the area. While there are several other popular places in the Old Town and Lake Street areas, this restaurant has the best Bolognese on homemade fettucine, homemade lasagna, beef carpaccio, and more. Great wine list. The place is casual to enjoy for an ordinary night, or to host a party. The patio has exposed brick walls, high ceiling and ceiling fans and heaters so it can be enjoyed in every season. The indoor dining room is lovely, casual, and welcoming. Homemade tiramisu is to die for.

I really enjoy eating here. I love to sit out on the patio. The food is delicious and always tastes good with a glass of Italian Wine. It feels like you are a world away once you are inside.
