“Pretty good dim sum in the area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 December 2013 via mobile

Even though the Sunnyvale area is heavily populated by Asians, there aren't a lot of good dim sum places at reasonable prices. Dim Sum King is a pleasant exception, serving pretty tasty dim sum with good ingredients and at good prices (for the area). Although they only offer the basic dim sum, their offerings are pretty good. The har gow (shrimp dumpling) and siu Mei (pork dumpling) were quite good, rivaling what you get in good places in San Francisco. Other steamed offerings like BBQ pork bun and sticky rice in lotus leaves were also good. Prices were 2.55 per order of three which make it a little high but well worth it in my opinion.

“The newest, cheapest place as of Oct, 2013”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 November 2013

Fast service, a moderately sized menu, and pretty darn cheap. Food not that bad. Clean place. Not to many tables to sit at (self service) so most people "do" takeout. This place is so inexpensive that I don't mind paying 50 cents for a cup of hot tea. Long line when we went there on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Don't know when they will raise prices so you better go there soon!

“Very Fun Hidden Place Feels Like Chinatown Moved to the Suburbs”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 October 2013

A very fun place popular with the local Asian population. It feels like a San Francisco Chinatown dim sum shop was picked up and dropped into the suburbs. It’s in a strip mall with a Michael’s, Dollar Store, and a Popeye’s and is always doing great business. The staff are young, energetic, and you can buy the usual chow mien/side take-away or have the freshly made dim sum or some Chinese desserts. Not many tables so it’s just as easy to buy it and bring it back home. Delicious. They also sell their own t-shirts and do party trays.
