“Plain food done well”
Reviewed 27 June 2013

This restaurant has typical restaurant offerings. However, these are done very well. Breakfast is big and very tasty. The menu is actually huge since you can get most of what's on it whenever you want - something a lot of restaurants don't offer. If you're in the mood for a philly cheesesteak or burger in the morning, no problem. The restaurant is very clean with a separate no smoking area. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly and your check won't break the bank. The bathrooms are very clean.

“Great deal!”
Reviewed 29 March 2013

Small casino but I did ok--broke even which is about all anyone can ask. With my players card we got a 20% discount and the food was cheap anyway! I ordered a chef salad and it was huge and after careful scrutiny I think the lettuce was cut and not from a bag. Total bill including a huge omelet and salad and one beer--$16.50

Dear Lakecleelum,
Thank you very much for your great review. I'm glad you won enough to break even in the casino, its all entertainment. Our goal is to have the largest portions for the lowest prices in town. Gary

“Winner!”
Reviewed 26 September 2012

Had a couple of vouchers for free play! Cashed them in for $5 each and walked out with $60! The casino is small compared to ones I'm used to, but the beer prices were great during happy hour and walking out with money is always a bonus!

“When it's Bad, we call it Garf”
Reviewed 5 September 2012

We needed some soup and or a salad, just a little something to tide us over until morning. It was about 8:30 PM. The waitress Hannah, couldn't have been more friendly, service oriented and charmingly forthright. The food wasn't her doing of course, it was just the workings of a place that doesn't know any better. You know that Celebrity Chef, Jamie Oliver who visited school cafeterias across America and showed them how to serve real food instead of something better suited to a trough? Well, Diamond Mtn would do well to invite him over, but I rather suspect they don't know who he is. And I suppose they could Google his name, but I still don't think they have the collective wherewithal to connect the dots. If I'm implying that they're hopeless, then this review is likely pointless.

“Choke on Smoke”
Reviewed 5 September 2012

Look, CA has changed for the better. Only a Casino will have you enter a room that's so thick with smoke you would think you were a smoke jumper fighting wild fires. Big Screen TVs and libations cannot make up for the fact that this Casino and all the others are an anachronism.
