This was our second stay at the Sutter Creek Inn, the first in 2010. We really enjoy visiting beautiful Amador County, the wonderful wines of the Shenandoah Valley, and driving the scenic roads through the Sierra Nevada mountains. On this most recent stay, we were joined by 3 other couples. All the rooms our group picked were great - clean, well maintained, and uniquely decorated in a theme consistent with the room's name. My wife and I stayed in the "Toolshed" room (the 2nd time we've stayed in this room). It has a large patio with table and chairs and provides a great place for a group to gather. We had good meals at Susan's Place and J&D's Steakhouse. The new pizza place in town, Pizza Plus, make's an awesome pizza. Lindsay and her staff at the Sutter Creek Inn are wonderful and took great care of our group. We'll be back.
