Description: Here, we're in the business of Steak. Real Steak. Not the cookie cutter, run of the mill stuff. Our steak is our passion, and the only reason we're here is to show you what you've been missing out on. We've built our own dry-aging facility to completely control the outcome of our steaks. Everything here has been meticulously tweaked and tinkered to bring out the best in the meat. Only when it's reached it's peak flavor potential do we prep our cuts for cooking. Our expert chefs work the fire and the forks to ensure that perfect cook. Then it gets to your table. When that fork first pierces the meat, and that knife slices through in that first cut, your eyes get to feast first at that juicy pink center. Then, it's just bite after bite, letting that perfect cook release the flavor of perhaps the best steak you've ever had. At least, we'd like to think so. We're just a call or a drive away.

During happy hour - You get $5 martinis and they are well made! Also the discounted apps are tasty and a good deal. The shrimp with chorizo appetizer is soooooo good! Get that with some bread and it's all I need! Yum! All this while enjoying the piano player.

We were visiting and went to the restaurant. It was easy to find near our hotel. The food was perfectly prepared and served. The wine complemented the meal. The place is clean and service outstanding. Great quality for a meal.

We went to Vail Ranch on a recommendation and while the food was okay, the service adequate, overall it was too much money for not a superior meal.
We were there on a Wed evening when they offer half price bottle of wine, which we though was a good deal. However, we had also been told that we would get 10% off our meal because of the hotel sending us. We were then told we could either have the half off wine OR the 10% off, but not both. We spoke to a manager who said we could only have one discount, although the general public was offered the half off wine and we went there partly based on the hotel recommendation and the 10% discount offer. They told us we could do the math and take whichever one was the best deal.
The onion soup was horribly salty and was sent back (and they did take it off the bill). They do have good steaks and both the dry aged ribeye and "wet" aged ribeye were decent sized and cooked as ordered. The dry aged ribeye did seem to have a bit more fat and gristle than a well trimmed steak should.
Overall, the meal was fine, but given the very obsequious waiter who was not very entertaining or as charming as he thinks and the prices charged that I would expect to pay for a fine dining location, Vail Steakhouse was only average and we will not be going back there.

We have been here 2 times. The staff has been an extremely well oiled machine both times.
Their team work is incredible. The service is seamless. The food is equal to that of a Donovan's or Ruth's Chris yet you can come in wearing sandals & shorts, as most people do on vacation.
In the booth next to you may be people in formal dress yet it all seems to fuse together.
The dry & wet aged beef is done to perfection and the side dishes are wonderful.
I recommend the asparagus. It is to die for... you don't have to like asparagus to love this dish.
Eric and the rest of the staff should be commended for their greatly attentive service.
Thank you so much for another memorable evening.
BTW: The piano bar is well above par.

While visiting our grandchildren in Murrieta California our daughter wanted to go to a good steak house. We booked this one through open table and was quite excited when we arrived however, upon being seated we were told that they had no childrens menu's and we ended up spending fifty (50.00) dollars per granddaughter ages 3 years old to 8 years old. When we finished for our party of three adults and three little girls ou
