not being from the area we initially had a difficult time finding Bushfire Grill as it is tucked in and just west of Trader Joe's. I will say that the menu board is not the easiest thing to read partly because of its location, the amount of information and the lack of light for the menu board. the staff is all pleasant and an asset to the restaurant. there are more than plenty of options. we had the lamb curry with brown rice and it was very tasty but i was not expecting shredded lamb meat, in my opinion it would present better with chunks of lamb which may, therefore, necessitate a higher grade or cut of lamb. the short ribs were mildly spiced and closer to a good cut of beef stew as it was lacking the typical short rib cut. the amount of rice they give you is a lot, those carb counters will not be able to finish it all. the bushfire special was a sandwich with their tender beef but the meat was devoid of flavoring and the meat is cold; it would be best served warm/hot unless we missed out on something. the side plate of 4 options turned out to be very good but probably ended up being more food than the 3 of us could really eat. prices are reasonable and there is indoor and outdoor seating. in this area of temecula there are a lot of eating options but if you want something casual with tables/chairs and not a big chain restaurant i would highly recommend Bushire Grill. we also noted a lot of take-out orders and this was at 8:30pm.
