All the seating overlooks the water feature and golf course so you get a lovely morning view no matter where you are. It was nice to see the completed patio and stairway down the back side as well.

Service was friendly and accommodating but a bit forgetful.
My husband had the Yuma Express - a stuffed chili relleno was a bit too exotic for him.
I had the Frenchmans french toast - a bit dry. Had a bit of ricotta and slightly charred bottom. The side of eggs and latte were yummy!
Room for improvement!

Just had dinner at the newly remodeled Cork Fire with a local group. The menu is limited, but all 8 entrees ordered were very good. Great bartender and a cool lounge. The view from the dining looks out over the golf course.

We had a 6:00 pm reservation which really wasn't necessary. Because this establishment is on the property of the Temecula Creek Inn, it probably doesn't get the respect it deserves. That said, the service was exceptional. From the hostess to the server to the bus boy, all young people presumably from the area, they were spot on. Someone trained them well.

The restaurant is on the second floor of the building that also houses the pro shop of the Temecula Creek golf course. A waterfall served as the backdrop looking out across the green fairways. But for a bunch of golfers crawling around, it would have been romantic.

I had the shrimp & grits. I didn't know what to expect but received creamy, slightly cheesy grits garnished with four jumbo grilled shrimp. It was the perfect size, served hot, and was wonderful. My wife had braised short ribs. It is one of her favorite dishes and they did it justice here.

From the hostess to the server to the bus boy, all the staff was efficient and well trained. They made for a delightful experience. Truly better than I expected.
