My wife and I were traveling to Joshua Tree National Park and needed a place for lunch. We spotted the Red Lotus with a "Grand Opening" sign and went in. The room was quite attractive with a nice wood floor, and wood wall wainscotting upto the five foot level. A wall waterfall fountain also contributed to the decoration.
While labeled "Vietnames", the menu was broadly Asian, and we were both able to find good choices, especially my wife, who is vegetarian. The service was reasonably prompt and pleasant, despite some reviews which stated it was slow. We were there shortly after lunch, so it was not crowded. The pricing was very reasonable, and this was overall a very pleasant dining experience.
