Good quality, nice atmosphere, service was gracious our night. It was a bit expensive though. Six of us and the total bill (gratuity included) was about $240. Worth it for the special occasion, or you could do a similar concept at home for a lot less!

The owner and the staff even took time to talk to my entourage as if we are their closed friends. The cost is very reasonable and very convinient location.

This Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot was a pleasant surprise.
The variety of things to cook in a soup based pot at your table of quite unique.
It is not a cheap, inexpensive dinner outing though.
With a bit of special attention though, one can limit the $$ (damage).
There is ample food from the wide variety of things available for you to add to the soup base for cooking... it does take a little attention to do it 'properly' - whatever that means.
The service is very good. A place to go for a bit of change, challenge, and enjoyment.

The restaurant, Little Sheep (小肥羊) just opened in Torrance a month ago. (But we had visited its sister shops in Hacienda Heights and San Gabriel.) About 18 months ago, Pizza Hut acquired Little Sheep and now LS is part of Pizza Hut Empire. Torrance LS located inside Rolling Hills Plaza at the corner of Airport Drive and a no-name two-way lane parallel to Pacific Coast Hwy, close to Trader Joe’s. It lacks a handicap ramp-it’s a drawback.
Its decoration and setting were very delightful. Inside of the restaurant, clean and bright. Service was cordial, friendly and fast. We 4 ordered Soup Base-Half & Half ($12), Pork Belly ($7), Lamp Shoulder ($12) and Angus Short Ribs ($12). Also Shrimpballs ($9), Soft & Sponge Tofu ($3 each), Veggie($8 for 4), Enoki Mushroom($2.5) and Glass Noodle($2). A surprised but nice plus is that this LS has several sauces for you to choose; including BBQ sauce, chili oil sauce, SaTay paste, etc. (instead of a single set of sauces in other LS stores.) Total bill of this lunch: $77. (The restaurant has a special during the weekday lunch hour: $9.99 per person, what a bargain!)
We enjoyed it very much and took home 3 big “cups” of soup. We’ll be back.
