The Salad Kai used to be a go to meal for lunch or dinner for several years. The salad could feed 2 or have left overs for the next day. Great display of tomatoes, apples, cucumbers and LOTS of yummy chicken. It would FILL the take out container and was reasonably priced.
Ordered for take out recently and things have TOTALLY changed. The salad size is MUCH smaller, one sixth of a roma tomato, a couple of slices of apple and cucumber, and the chicken was scatterly placed to look like there was a lot more. The flavor of the renowned dressing was even different. Of course the price went up too! It was a huge disappointment.

A LONG time Tracy favorite for takeout, now a really nice place for sit down. From mild to spicy, traditional recipes on the menu. Salads and appetizers are pleasant and go great with their traditional Pad Thai and fried rice. We’ll be back.

Not a fancy place but the food is tasty very reasonably priced. Can be busy a lunchtime but it's fun and lively. The service is always great and accurate with orders even though servers are obviously busy at lunchtime.

first time there, but heard a lot about it from friends, and they were right. Food was great! Service was really good. We went for lunch and it had a variety of ppl from families with kids, ladies lunch, business lunch-from what I can tell. We found parking right up front as well..so its easy to park, eat, and go on with your day!

First off, the food is simple but delicious! The restaurant is under new ownership and they have made major advancements since Sam sold it. Most of it is not seen or heard but they replaced a bunch of the cooking equipment which allows for cooking faster and healthier.

They used to tell people 15-20 minute waits on to-go orders but they typically get it out in 5-10 minutes now and that helps since there is almost always a line of to-go orders. They typically have 4-5 times the to-go orders than eat-in orders. That's why, if you call in your order, expect to be put on hold for a bit. Remember, it's worth it!

New owners have expanded the menu with about 20 new dishes. Have had a lot of them and they're all very good to lip-smacking delicious. Of all the rest of the menu, I've been here so many times and have tried to taste every dish they offer, have never been disappointed. My favorites: The Satay, Spicy Angel Wings, Salad Kai (most popular dish/salad on the menu)+ get extra side of dressing), Kaeng Karee Kai (yellow curry chicken), Moo Warn (stir fry pork), Ka Nar (broccoli and mushroom), and my all time favorite-Kao Pad (fried rice). Any one of them will keep you coming back!

I think it has something to do with the new equipment they cook on but I think a majority of it has to do with how they cook the food. They use the freshest ingredients and NEW cooking oil on every dish. There have been times where I couldn't get around to eating the leftovers for a week and, when I reheat it, the food still smells and tastes fresh like it was made yesterday. Not like most asian restaurants where the food smell rancid from the oil going bad in just a day or two.

As far as decor, I'm here to eat. As long as it is clean, I don't care about decor. But since other reviewers mentioned it, I've noticed the inside and out have gotten a makeover recently and it helps. But this place was VERY busy before and now, it has the servers almost running all night long.

One of the servers, Tara, has been here forever. Always on top of it. Never makes you feel like you're bothering here. Never let's your glass go dry. One of the best of all time! Kaylee, is right up there too, as well as Maryah, Monique and the others. Pat and Jeanette always have a beautiful smile and a friendly greeting when I come in.

Pat and her husband are the new owners and are very involved in every aspect of running the restaurant. But yet they keep it simple...good food, good prices, good people!

You won't be disappointed. Go in, let Pat or Jeanette take your order or sit down and let Tara or Kaylee or any of the others take your order and enjoy.
