“Very cute”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

This is possible the smallest museum you will see :-) It was a gas station built with 1 redwood tree. It is very small, but very interesting. You will see the gas pumps and some devices from when it was working. This was a real/working gas station. It is free and it may not take you more than 15 minutes to see it and take pictures.

“Great History”
Reviewed 5 September 2013

We love the history of the museum and when my husband lived in Ukiah he bought gas at the station. There are pictures of this station in our family photo albums and dig.ital library

“It's Worth Ten Minutes of Your Time”
Reviewed 16 August 2013

If you're in Ukiah anyway, go spend 10 minutes looking and taking pictures. The small one-room museum is free and well-maintained. It's in the 800 block of North State Street just north of Evans Street (although my Garmin GPS said to turn onto Evans Street, which is incorrect).

Neither the station nor the bathrooms are functional so don't plan on any services or souvenirs.

“Something silly to paste for your facebook friends”
Reviewed 10 July 2013

Self serve one room museum. This might have been an old gas station, Is cut from a single giant redwood tree, with two smaller redwood trees serving as restrooms in back, but they were not open. Funky but well maintained.

“Fun little stop”
Reviewed 8 July 2013

Not much to see here... but is a fun, free little stop. The gas pumps still say 28cents - so photo worthy right there. Nice photo stop for a family to share with friends.
