“Mix impression”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

I have been on this restaurant 3 times and had a very good first impression and the second and third times my impression is being to fade.
First time we ate during restaurant week and the food was great well cooked and portions were acceptable for the price...
2nd and 3rd times the quality still good but not as great as before and the portions are very small for the price.

“Great oysters - Fantastic Service!”
Reviewed 17 October 2013

My husband stopped in here on our way to Bodega Bay. We felt like having oysters, and were intrigued by the whimsical name. It is a really nice, clean, well decorated place. We sat at one of the long tables in the bar area. The bartender/server was wonderful!! She was very friendly, helped us with selection of oysters, and served up great spicy Bloody Mary's! We had six of the grilled oysters, two of each, Rocker Oysterfeller, Estero Gold, and Louisiana Hot. Our favorite was the namesake Rocker. We also shared the Buffalo Wings which came with Point Reyes Blue Cheese Dressing. They were very good. If we are in the area I would definitely stop by again for the good food, nice ambience, and fantastic service!!

“Great southern style cuisine”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

First of all do order the rocker oysterfellers. They are the reason I love the place so much. Also, do hang out in their bar for cocktails.

I have eaten here quite a few times now. This last time we came for brunch. The oysters were delicious as usual. My chicken and waffles were awesome. My boyfriend got smoked salmon from their special octoberfest menu, which was very tasty. Always a good meal! And they run the little hotel there too which is a very cute place to stay.

“Very nice and friendly place”
Reviewed 22 September 2013

We stayed at the hotel last April but ate elsewhere. When we returned in the evening the smells from the bar were great so we came in and had a fantastic dessert. So this time, driving from San Francisco we decided to have a late lunch/early dinner there.
Service and ambience were great. Sit on the bar or at the 2 long tables in the front room , the inside was a bit dark for us for that moment.
The grilled oysters were fantastic and so was the green watercress salad. Amazing chocolate pie with salt and very very good sugar coated bagnats.
Very reasonably priced. We will return.

“Ate here once”
Reviewed 1 August 2013

I wasn't really impressed. Food was OK and not cheap. Menu sounded better than the food tasted; not bad, just not memorable. Can't say much more than that, but wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.
