This food was AMAZING! The oysters were to die for, and the rest of the food was super delicious! We have decided to have our wedding at this location and will have them cater. Super impressed, and will definitely go back!

This is a fun historic place to stop for lunch or dinner. The oysters are amazingly fresh and tasty. They have five different kinds and we got 2 of each. (Expensive at $2.75 each!) Then we got two more. We could have eaten about 20 each - so good! The artichoke and crab cakes were nice - not too much filler. Good wine list and good service. They did a great job on the renovation…the Ball jar pendant lights, glass bottle collection and local photography are perfect.
We will be back and soon!

We have eaten at this location from time to time, finding it "fun and funky." But the hotel has been painted and perked up and the restaurant has become quite charming. It's so nice to have something like this in Valley Ford. Our waitress was just about perfect, beautiful and helpful and thoughtful. When I first sat down a leg of my chair fell into an open heater vent, which scared the daylights out of me. Needs to be attended to. Also, there were too many flies in the restaurant. We went for breakfast and it was a bit hard to choose from what seemed to be a cajun leaning menu. A lot of pretty heavy duty food. I chose chicken and corn meal waffles, which sounded very interesting. My husband had an oyster po'boy, Lots of fries in evidence. My waffles were not crisp but tasted fine and the chicken was tender. Would have liked something a little healthier but it is an interesting menu and a nice place to go. Maybe better for lunch or dinner. Most of all, it is so good to see the place revived and flourishing.

I have been on this restaurant 3 times and had a very good first impression and the second and third times my impression is being to fade.
First time we ate during restaurant week and the food was great well cooked and portions were acceptable for the price...
2nd and 3rd times the quality still good but not as great as before and the portions are very small for the price.
