Our first time here was a very pleasant experience! We ordered breakfast - egg white omelets , ham steak, pancakes, and coffee. All delicious and hot. The service was good, and the variety on their menu is extensive . Best of all breakfast is served all day! Prices are very reasonable! Nice little gift shop too!

Bear #1 forgot our drinks, due to many interruptions from other diners - until we asked for them 20 minutes later. Bear #2 delivered the soup after the entrees. Bear #1 apologized and quickly brought my glass of wine with someone else's lipstick on it. Eee. He noticed it as he was about to give it to me and apologized again. He brought me another wine in a clean glass. Bear #2, upon delivering the late soup said - 'Hey, it's not my fault. I'm not your server'. The soup, while hot, had a 'skin' on of it as it had been sitting around and then microwaved. The small corn muffin that came with the soup was microwaved as well. Microwaves are the death of baked goods. The soup skin, once stirred into the soup, disappeared. The soup was ok. Husband had meat loaf, mashed pots and some fresh sautéed veggies. The veggies were cold and wet. The brown gravy on the meatloaf and pots was somewhat congealed and salty but tasty, even if a mix out of a packet. My cheese burger was very good. Bear #1 nicely made sure it had no raw onion on it, as requested. The lesson here is to go with the simpler things. We have been here quite a few times for b'fast and lunch. Servings are good size [even the small sized ones], and the environment is very clean, including the restrooms. As this was a week night, there seemed to be a lot of families with younger kids. We give BBD a reliable C/C+. This is not gourmet dining and doesn't pretend to be. BBD serves wine and bear - oops - beer.

Good variety of food from the full on breakfast, hamburgers, salads, sandwiches to chili bowls. Solid food, solid well trained friendly staff.

Alot to like about this place but it is not for someone looking for interesting, innovative food. Just generous servings of homestyle food for a reasonable price, served by polite, efficient servers. I would go back again.

The place is always busy and 10-20 min wait at peak times so they are doing something right.

We came here for lunch. Kid friendly and they have a kids' menu. Food was decent (we had eggs benedict, an omelet, french toast sticks, and a chicken club sandwich), portions were large, our server was very good.
