“A real home from home”
Reviewed 13 August 2013

Three generations of my family took over 82 Fishbourne for 2 nights at the end of the July and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nick's welcome was warm and informative and nothing was too much trouble. We all loved our rooms and all the little extras provided. Breakfast is definitely a highlight and ranks among the best I've ever had. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and yoghurt and, of course, the cooked breakfast! On Nick's recommendation we had one meal at a local pub (not the one almost opposite but the one just round the corner) and the food and atmosphere were lovely. He also recommended a walk down the road to the left of the pub which takes you to one corner of Chichester Harbour where you can walk for miles and paddle in crystal clear streams. My 6 year old daughter and her 10 and 13 year old cousins romped around in the water for half an hour, much to the amusement of several passing dog-walkers!

Lovely B&B. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

Room Tip: The downstairs room is the largest but all the rooms are a decent size and have very roomy bathrooms

Received a warm welcome. Clean comfortable bedrooms like the availability of fresh milk for tea and coffee. Relaxed and quiet. On the old A27 road but not intrusive at all. Breakfast a highlight. 82 Fishbourne is excellent value for money. Recommended restaurant in Chichester Nags Head was also very good too. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Usually I stay at the Marriott or Hilton when staying in the Portsmouth area. I found 82 Fishbourne through a work colleague and I gave it a try. Suffice it to say its was just like being at home, the food / breakfast was of the highest standards, the service friendly polite and charming and the overall experience was one I would highly recommend to anyone. My room was spacious tastefully decorated,Nic your a brilliant host.

My partner and I stayed for one night in early July and were very pleased to be met by Nic who could not have been more solicitous and made us feel immediately at home. Our room on the first floor was a good size and the separate bathroom was only a little smaller. Everything was spotless with good fluffy towels, comfortable bed and a good-sized TV, A full English breakfast in the 'hut' was perfect and could not have been bettered. Full marks, Nic, and many thanks for a lovely overnight stay!

What a great place! Nick was a very good host, comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Great location to explore on foot and to pubs which were all close by. Very easy access by car to Portsmouth, lovely villages. Nick was very informative, we had a lovely walk into Chichester for a great meal at a curry house nick had recommended. Would we stay again, most definitely! Ann-Marie & Mike :-)
