This is a very surprising find for a restaurant being tucked away in a rural setting. if you were to drive past you would look at the outside and think it is a very small cramped pokey old fashioned cafe. How much further from the truth could you possibly be!! Once inside the restaurant opens up into a spacious eating area with a very nice atmosphere.
It has to have one of the most extensive menus I have seen in a very long time with something that will please every palate or choice of food. Our family has been many many times and I don't think we have duplicated food choices once. The meals on their own are substantial in quantity but they insist on additional sides (free of charge) and these are almost a meal on their own. If you request (and most people do!) a doggy bag , it is provided without any hassle. Service is excellent and price wise would be impossible to beat. All in all an absolute gem and a place we would recommend to anyone. Only slight downside is that it is a bring your own bottle but with an off licence across the road this is not much of a hardship.
