We chose this cabin for a family of 7. It's clean and well appointed, and the fireplace was nice on cold evenings. It has all the amenities of home (which it is for someone). But it is not in good repair. The master bath heater was inoperative, so mornings saw us with cold feet. The master bath tub/spa was inoperative, so only showers were allowed -- and we were not told this when making the reservation. The thermostat in the master bedroom was inaccurate, leading to alternate cold/hot spells during the night. Apparently the roof leaks, as there was a blue tarp overing much of it, but this did not affect our stay.
We have just had a driving holiday in California and this was the best place we stayed. The cabin was very peaceful, wonderfully appointed with everything that was listed and more. It is a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of life inside of Yosemite National park. We spent 3 nights here and wished we had booked for longer. The surrounding area is all wooded and you can walk / hike out from the cabin or jump in the car and straight into Yosemite Valley or any of the other points in the park. We were very lucky and had snow on the higher passes while we were in the park, so it was amazing to see the picturesque views with snow and brilliant sunshine. We will be back to relax and enjoy. The hardest decision was which cabin to rent.
