Not a ton of choices in this town but as this was the #2 restaurant, we decided to trust our fellow Trippies and check it out. We were there on a Wednesday night and in the hour we were there, a steady stream of people came in for take out as well as to dine in. A great sign. Was actually a wait for a few people until tables cleared. Hubby ordered Cheeseburger and Garlic fries- both very good and I had Lasagna - huge portion and great quality. Highlight was the cheerful waitress, think her name was Bonnie. Hard working, good sense of humor and very attentive. When she brought the lasagna and I commented "wow, this is huge", she winked and said "welcome to the Hi-lo". Looks like breakfast is yummy too. Oh did I mention that the restaurant has the most incredible view of Mt Shasta?
