“Gordon Ramsey learn how to manage a restaurant”
Reviewed 26 October 2013 via mobile

I came here with a friend for lunch and everything is wrong in this place. The sides are not listed on the menu. I asked to the waiter to put fries instead of salade in my awful chicken plate and he brought me chicken with green salade on it and fries on the side (after a 25 minutes wait). When i got the check i discovered that i was charge for the fries as well.when i told him that i was not happy about it, tim had a bad attitude and he was a bit rude. They also could not locate the manager and made us wait another 10 minutes. They did not change our bill and we left. This place should be on hell's kitchen

Mr Ramsey's inability to pronounce the word 'restaurant' has really hit the mark on the roof of the London Hotel. This is not a restaurant. It is - at best - a cafe. There is no cooking involved bar what would be considered essential for a short-order breakfast chef. Food preparation with the over-all design of Chef Ramsey provides good ingredients but the slap-dash service and poor preparation lets the Chef down - badly.

Sushi is well-made but pre-made and chilled. The sea-food platter is excellent, with bought not home-made red sauce but not really cooking, is it? A Cesar salad, served in a giant Perspex cocktail-shaker is a nice idea, but not when the lettuce is chopped into bite-size portions fit for a cow. The two croutons were both the size of a small loaf. The half-hearted shake given by the waitress barely mixed anything before been deposited on the plate. It would have been comical, if it wasn't so sad.

As this is a cafe near a swimming pool City regulations require plastic cups, so don't be surprised by the pick-nick wares. The service was abysmal - kids on summer break without a clue. Cheery smiles don't cut the mustard when you want a drink.....

The only redeeming feature is the cost, which is very reasonable, though the wine list was expensive and cocktails even more so. This place is a bit of a runt.....

“should be better”

Good , but not great. The fish is disappointing , service is too formal. You can expect what you get from Gordon Ramsey , no surprises.

“Fantastic View, Nice Food.”
Reviewed 24 April 2013 via mobile

Well I read many complain about horrible service when crowded time. It was not my case. (I was at 7pm in low season, Winter).

There were not so many choices on the menu, 4 appetizer and 4 mains, and 4 dessert, which we four people ordered each. Except only one dessert, everything was very nice. And the price is not that high though we prepared deep pockets because it was Gordon Ramsay. So we ordered a bottle of good Champagne, which was served very well, looking down Sunset boulevard. We found that other expensive version(when comparing the menu) is on 1st floor, but we will make the same mistake again when we visit there in the next year, because I don't love his food more than the fantastic night view there. Really, lovely mood.
