Description: David Myers’ comme Ça presents traditional Parisian brasserie fare in a modern setting. Inspired by the neighborhood restaurants of France, comme Ça offers a lively environment where guests can indulge in French classics such as Steak Frites with Compound Butter, Soupe à l’Oignon Gratinée and Salade Frisée aux Lardons. Selections from the raw bar and unique cheeses from France and America are also available. The 18A bar program features a list of Prohibition-era style cocktails, and many more are spontaneously created for guests based on personal preference of liquor and flavor profile. The wine list includes over 100 selections, 25 of which can be enjoined by the glass.

I had the vegetarian pasta, which was an incredible pea-stuffed ravioli in a complex, tangy sauce. Delicious. My companion had the steak frites, which came with an enormous side of perfectly cooked and seasoned fries. The steak was also perfectly seasoned.

The atmosphere was romantic, and not too loud when we were there. (Also, we had a celebrity sighting!)

We went there for Valentine's Day Dinner last night. We've been a few times but this was THE WORST! Yes, the atmosphere is fun and even romantic. We had the Valentine's Day set menu -- which consisted of a lobster bisque that wasn't bad. My husband had the Coq a vin -- which was dry. I had the stead which was tough and dry. This meal was absolutely pre-cooked and sitting around until dinner. For the prices ($59 per person for set menu), it is definitely NOT WORTH IT.

And while it was fun to have a porn star as our waiter, and experience the ambience, there are only better (and less pricey) restaurants in this big city.

If you are reading this -- Comme Ca -- please take another look at the basics of your restaurant, like quality of the your food. Especially if you expect people to leave with a $200.00+ bill.

We won't be back

Roast chicken and short ribs were excellent, service was spotty, and when we asked for bread, for the three of us we got one roll served in a paper napkin with a few pieces of butter. Along with wine I asked for a certain scotch served straight up and "neat" which was served iced and stirred. Spoiled the impact of a $15 shot!

this is far from good French food. Too much going on in our entrees with poorly matched ingredients. Fries were good. My daughter enjoyed her hamburger but if you're wanting truly GOOD food this is not the place.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal at this warm inviting place on Melrose.
Tasted the Blue Crab toast and the Mediterranean Octopus, both were fresh and delicious. Don't miss the Bouillabaise and the Duck Confit Ravioli! Service was efficient, friendly barman, food was fantastic.
