Feb. is not really the last date of my visit. its been over a year now since i have been able to get back to Willits but, i spent almost every summer out there as a child. Every visit my family made to see my grandparents my grandpa, Ed Burton, always made sure that we kids made it to the Loose Caboose for lunch. Last time i was out there i brought a friend with me and did the same. it's not a very big restaurant but the food is wonderful the staff is always warm and helpful and i truly feel it is within itself, a piece of Willits. even if you don't have time to sit down and eat i recommend you get it to go. its not right there on 101 but it is definatley worth hunting down if you have never been there. In my opinion no trip to willits is complete without A: a trip to the Loose Caboose and B: a trip to the country skillet.
