Stayed on 6-9-2013 for one night on way to crater lake in oregon. Was going to stay in sacramento but looked expensive and hard to get around if you didn't know the town. Woodland was nw of sacramento and right off I-5 expressway. Made for a very easy commute the next morning. Price with senior rate was in 60 dollar range. Clean, had fridge to keep our snacks and water cold for next morning. Stayed on ground floor with two queens. Beds were comfortable, room was quiet. Had good nights sleep. Has an outdoor pool, but we didn't use it so can't comment. Not much close as far as places to eat, unless you want mcdonald's right across street and there was a mexican restaurant about a block away. We drove to a bbq place that was overpriced and not that great. ok stay for money spent.

We were staying one night with our granddaughter for a reception for our son and his new bride. Chose because of convenient location and previous reviews. When we checked in and first entered room were overwhelmed by overly sweet, pungent odor of room or carpet freshener. Since hot anyway, turned on very noisy air conditioner and withing 15 minutes room was cool and most of odor dissipated. Unit was dated, shower leaked and couldn't close door to bathroom. Was functional and met our needs, but probably wouldn't stay there again.

Admittedly, expectations should be matched to the price paid for the room. Although relatively inexpensive for the area, I was disappointed. I have basic requirements for a room: cleanliness and wifi.

The wifi was inaccessible at my room. A call to the front desk on this issue was not helpful. There were Wireless Access Points that were in range, but there were not accessible directly and the main router was only accessible outside the room itself.

Although the room was clean, it did not give the initial appearance of such. This was partially due to the fact that the last remodel was decades old and the wear and tear showed.

I travel to this area and will chose to pay slightly more for a different hotel.

The price is very right for this no frills hotel experience. It is a good value and centrally located. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed here five nights with our two cats while the flooring in our house was being re-done. The room has a microwave and small frig. We were thrilled to find a non-smoking room and would accept pets, and glad to pay the pet fees plus the small cleaning fee so we could keep our cats with us for these few days.

Room Tip: Away from Main Street would be quieter.

We have a crew of workers in the area and they have been staying at the Econo Lodge. We are more than pleased by the service, rooms & friendliness. Our crew thinks its great too! We have been working in the area for the past several months and highly recommend it as our guys say that sleep great, nice location. They feel very well taken care of when they are working so far away from home. Thank you Econo Lodge for treating us like family.

We stayed at Econo Lodge for three nights. It was great value for money and the rooms were more than adequate for our needs. Each room had a microwave and television and the room was spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The complementary breakfast including the waffles were very good. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient.

A spotlessly clean room, equipped with a refrigerator and microwave, at a price that's half of what one would have to pay in Davis (20 minutes away). The quality of the bed is about what you'd expect for Econo Lodge, but it's acceptable, and this motel is in a quiet location. The complimentary breakfast, including bake-it-yourself waffles, was better than I've seen at any 'economy' motel. I'll stay here again, without a doubt.
