“A meal and a show”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014

Bari Bari is a great Tepanyaki (where they cook in front of you at your table) restaurant. The food is excellent and the show the chefs put on is entertaining and fun. It isn't cheap, but the quality of the experience is absolutely worth it!

“No yum yum sauce :(”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 June 2014 via mobile

The food was great I had the NY steak and scallops. I was a bit saddened that there was no "special sauces or yum yum sauce". The chef was not that funny or entertaining. I have been to better places where the interaction. Is superb. Here is was just Ok. The price ran me about $28 for what I had ordered a little bit pricey but not by much. It's not a bad place to try after all food was good.

“A Sumptuous Feast!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2014

Bari Bari is a reasonably priced Benihana-style restaurant. Chefs are lighthearted and entertaining. The food is generous and tasty. Reservations recommended, but we've been able to reserve a table within the hour.

“Good food and large portions”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

We have been going to this restaurant for the past 10 years. Most of us order the filet and it is always good. They use quality meat and cook it perfectly. For flavor we order the garlic and it tastes great.

“Not quite Benihana, but they try”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 April 2014

I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. I really liked the quality of the food, and the portions are more than adequate, but the taste was just ok.

The fried rice wasn't the bomb. I could have made it better at home. Scrambling an egg and adding soy sauce and butter isn't fried rice. Adding veggies and maybe even garlic butter, sesame or meat would have made it tastier. Sorry, Benihana makes a better rice.

The soup was a clear consumme broth topped with a sliced mushroom. It was ok. The salad was nicely chilled and had a nice ginger dressing.

The chef used a lot of soy sauce to create flavor, when a simple douse of salt, pepper and other seasonings would have given the steak flavor.

The shrimp was tasty and good sized. My NY strip was tender but cooked in too much soy. My plate was covered in a lake of soy sauce juice.

I left very full, but felt it was just ok of a dinner. Reservations recommended.

4 stars for portion size and the owner was funny and attentive.
