Our first stop on our wine tasting day, It only makes sense to start off with light sparkling wine. Wines all delicious and our wine pourer very pleasant to chat with. We had a 2 for 1 from an online app which is always nice! $20 saved to spend on wine!

Thank lea k

Our most private moments have been shared with a bottle of Moet Chandon. So picking which of 300+ wineries to first visit while passing through Cali's wine country became quite easy when my wife spot's Domaine Chandon on the map. We were richly rewarded with the sight of plump ripe ready to pick grapes packing the vines leading up to the restaurant and tasting area. The entire area was as sharp and crisp as a bottle of Chandon. The tasting's are like no other...each better then the last. All the more eventful when shared with new friends fresh off the morning winery balloon ride joining us. If not for the planned redwoods drive for the rest of the day, we wouldn't of left for hours. The visit to Chandon was unforgettable and refreshed with a bottle from the trip shared this past Thanksgiving. Sad part of the trip...my token Chandon bottle opener was taken from me by airport security.

We ate dinner here last week to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The restaurant is quite beautiful and they sat us at a small table by the fireplace, which was very romantic. For appetizers, I had the duck pate and my husband had pan-seared sea scallops. Both were very tasty. For the entree, we both had the beef tenderloin. It was a very nice cut of meat and served with several well thought-out sauces. However, the tenderloin itself was overdone with sea salt on top, which really threw off the meal. My first bite was the tenderloin in the tapenade which was way over the top with the salt. A shame, since it likely would have been good if the beef had not been oversalted.

I didn't leave hungry as others have said, but like they said, it was quite pricey. Their sparkling wine list is quite expansive, but certainly not cheap.

I would give it another try - for another special occasion - but hope we'd have better luck on the entree next time.

Offered wine tasting for $20 pp; were supposed to be given 2 for 1, never applied. Tried calling admin., left message; also e-mailed without success. Very disappointing. The grounds are very nice, and were able to walk around. Staff only interested in selling wine.

We visited the Domaine Chandon on Nov. 22, 2013 with my sister and her husband. They told me that when they first moved to Benicia they used to go there frequently. The grounds are really well landscaped and the building is very attractive. The servers explained the tasting sessions and the prices although the menu was well-designed and clear. The option that we selected was the three glass reserve sparkling wine tasting session at $20.00 per person. The wines were all different grapes and they were all very good. The server also gave us a free sample of a red (yes, red!) sparkling wine and it was suprisingly tasty. She said that it was the creation of a former Australian wine maker of theirs.
The also have a fine restaurant next to the tasting bar.
I recommend the Domaine Chandon if you are in the area.
Cheers!
