Description: Chef Michael Chiarello has returned to his culinary roots by creating seasonal farm-to-table Italian cuisine reflecting the bold flavors of Chiarello’s heritage in his signature style 1st made famous at Tra Vigne in the 90’s. An award winning chef/vintner & Food Network host, Chiarello celebrates his Italian roots and the Napa Valley with a menu echoing his long practice of using the finest locally/sustainably produced food. Located in Yountville, in the heart of the Napa Valley, Bottega’s extensive wine list represents hard-to-find favorites of the Valley and interesting Italian selections. Chiarello restored the integrity of an old 1800’s estate by uncovering beautiful hard wood floors, timber beams, old brick walls and windows. The inviting dining room is accented with reclaimed antiques, warm fabrics and eclectic light fixtures lending to the restaurant’s old world comfort.

Wow Italian done as it should. Great ambience and service by a very knowledgable staff. The food was fresh and made with great thought and effort. Loved it. All this on top of great prices which makes it a must do for any meal.

“Wife loved her birthday dinner”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

The entire menu here was amazing. My wife had the short ribs which everyone will tell you are amazing. I tried the Ravioli which was truly the best I have ever had. Easy to see it is homemade and just perfect. The cocktails are also excellent if you have had enough wine during the day as we had :)

“Amazing Dinner”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

This restaurant felt so big after the other places we had been in the area but I am happy to say that did not effect the service or quality of any of the food we had. Everything was so fresh and creatively prepared (we LOVED the polenta under glass) and the pastas were spectacular. Definitely worth a visit.

“Great Vibe, Okay Food”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

This restaurant definitely has it going on…rave music, hordes of people out front, packed bar…but the food was only ok. Our meal started off great (Grilled Octopus & Green Eggs & Ham), but my pasta dish was ruined by the smell & flavor of burnt garlic. My husband's Bolognese was very good, but nothing exceptional. Our expectations for this restaurant were very high, and alas, we left feeling underwhelmed. Prices were reasonable though.

Our first night in Napa and we chose BOTTEGA as our first restaurant experience. Chef Brian Bistrong again shows his excellence in offering a diverse menu making our choice very difficult - would have loved to try every single item. We were a party of two and finally settled for 3 appetizers: Monterey Calamari, Budino al Pecorino and Green Eggs and Ham each delicious. I had the Risotto special served with 3 lamb meatballs, Fava beans and asparagus slivers and drizzled with lamb jus. My husband chose the Black Garlic Spaghetti Grande with gulf Prawns. We shared dessert a delicious Ricotta Semifreddo with Rhubarb compote. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Our server, Laura, was not only efficient but also friendly and very knowledgeable. We will return and highly reccommend.
