Yountville is perhaps the town (outside of some small villages in France) with the most Michelen stars per capita anywhere in the world. Yes, The French Laundry gets all the fame, and there are other great choices like Bouchon, Redd and Bistro Jeanty, but Lucy restaurant at Bardessono (most skip the Lucy part) is perhaps the local favorite. Elegant, with great food, and especially exquisite pastas, and a relatively affordable menu and wine list. The service is the perfect "attentive but not in a rush" balance too. If you are looking for either a really romantic place for two or an upscale business location for dinner this may be your best bet in a town where it is increasingly hard to find a dining experience that is not world-class.
