We visited this winery because we stayed in Yountville and it was open later than most other wineries. This is the type of place you come to for the wine and the story behind the winery. They do not get into much detail about how the wine was made or the process as much as it is about the Hill family. This place is like a dusty old novel, it may not look like much but on the inside it has a lot of great character. I really enjoyed their wine overall and the different style of the tour.
