Stumbled in to this place after a long drive in to the Napa Valley area. Outside was full and we were starving so staff accomodated us inside. We later saw a family that had come in before us, and waited for a table outside, sit inside next to us after we had already ordered. Conclusion? - outside may be a long wait.
Waitstaff were adorable and friendly. Menus came quickly and our drink orders came pretty quickly too. We ordered the organic burgers, others had the pork sandwhich and another the pastrami (?). The burgers were very, very tasty. One teenager who has traveled quite a bit said they were the best burgers ever. Oh, and pay $1 extra for the onion rings... mmmmm! The burgers were definitely tastier than the other items. The servers kept checking on us, always smiling, so we had no complaints whatsoever. Would recommend this place to others.

I was sorely disappointed in this restaurant especially in such an upscale dining community. I cannot rate the food but I can rate the customer service, or lack thereof. First, we waited longer than necessary to be seated inside. The restaurant was less than half full and there were plenty of servers on hand. We were able to place our drink order with our food order because there was such a gap between being seated and our waitress returning to our table. After waiting 25-30 minutes, a different waitress came over to ask us to "verify" our order. We decided to leave at this point regretting choosing this restaurant over so many others, particularly given our short stay in the area.

This place was recommended to us but I am still wondering why. We arrived early on a weekday evening, just the two of us, and were not greeted until I went and helped myself to a menu so we could decide whether to stay or not. We weren't that hungry and just wanted a burger. Finally the hostess came over and told us there would be a wait for a table for two and we could wait in the bar. We walked past at least eight tables that were ready but we were not seated. We walked into the tiny bar area which was full of people. I ordered two martinis and was totally unprepared for what happened next. The "barmaid" measured three ounces of liquor directly into six ounce martini glasses and handed the martinis to us ... no shaking, no ice, just warm liquor in a glass. Being tired from visiting wineries all day and wanting to eat, we decided not to make a stink about it. Before we could even get the drinks, the hostess came in and said our table was ready. We were seated and ordered burgers from the waitress. We told her that the drinks were terrible and were not properly made and we asked for some ice, winding up with a martini on ice, something we don't drink as a rule. The burgers were delivered by the hostess after quite a long time and we never saw the waitress again. There was no ketchup on the table so my wife went to get some. She approached the hostess who opened a cabinet and handed my wife a condiment server with mustard, ketchup and napkins, etc...! She did not even offer to bring it to the table. No one stopped at the table to check up on us and after our meal I had to seek out the hostess in order to get the bill. Incredibly indifferent service at best! Fortunately for us the burgers were great. The tip was small! We will never go back to this place and will recommend that folks avoid it. Go across the street to Bouchon or Hurley's.

We decided to try Pac Blue for LUNCH -- based on a recommendation from a server at Chandon Winery. We were very disappointed. The salad was soggy, chicken dry, and blue cheese salty and when we complained, the server offers apoligies and suggested another dish but when my wife declined they did not offer to cut the price at all. I had the pulled pork sandwich that was salty. The best meal was the grilled cheese for our granddaughter -- off of the childrens menu. We will not be back. We walked over to Hurleys afterwards and saw their menu which looks very nice -- also checked out the Bouchons bakery and got a GREAT cookie. They also look like they have a nice restaurant. Will also give that a try.
