“An organization that knows how to satisfy”
Reviewed 5 January 2013

My family has been staying at the Charter over Christmas for the past 8 years. We have never been satisfied. The valets greet you with a smile and make you feel comfortable. Nino and Patti at the front desk know how to make you feel like family.
They go out of their way to make my boys feel like family.
Renee, the concierge gets it done. No questions asked.
The accomadations are always comfortable. The convenience of the shuttles bring the slopes to your back door.
The indoor pool is a big hit with kids. The outdoor whirlpools are enchanting in the snow.
The Spa offers a truly relaxing experience with a great work out room.
Beaver Creek is a great resort and the Charter is a special place because of the people who work at making it a wonderful experience for their guests.
You will not regret staying at The Charter.

The Charter exceeded our expectations. We were there at a very busy time the week after Christmas and service was fantastic. We had a 2 bedroom condo for 4 of us with plenty of room - (2 teenage boys & 2 adults) The condo had a great kitchen, washer & dryer as well as a wood burning fireplace which we took advantage of nightly. You have all of the conveniences and service of staying in a high end hotel but the space of a condo. We were in bldg 6 but felt close to everything and enjoyed the spa, game room and the pool and hottubs. The Charter is very close to the village and therefore you could walk to everything or jump on the BC shuttle when you had on all your ski gear and be at Centennial in 5 min. We will stay there again!

When I first arrived at The Charter, I was greeted with a friendly hello and a very HELPFUL welcome. The entire staff is helpful, friendly, and polite. Another positive is the location. Although the 'Ski-in-Ski-out' is a little confusing at first, when you figure it out, it is extremely convenient and easy. Those were the two main positives, but the stay was not all great.

The first negative that stood out was the room. It looked like it was straight out of the 70's. Fake plants, outdated furniture, and a few appliances did not work quite right, for example the microwave and for the first 2 nights the heating and cooling. The second was the lack of a quality restaurant in the hotel. They have 1 restaurant called, "The Black Diamond." It is a sub-par restaurant and is very expensive.

Overall, the stay was convenient and made my vacation better. The Location is great, it is right near Beaver Creek Village and has easy ski-in-ski-out. But, the lack of an updated room, non-working appliances, and a quality restaurant are just a few reasons why it is a 4 out of 5 and why I say it is not quite worth the amount of money I paid to stay there.

Room Tip: Dont get room 5220. It straight from the 80's.

My girlfriend and I booked at the Charter on a Jetsetter deal for $250/night during the busy winter season. We could not be more pleased with our experience and will absolutely recommend The Charter to others.

Pros
-Location was amazing, especially for skiing. 5 minute walk to Beaver Creek village.
-Room was very comfortable and covered small details that made it extra cozy
-Free Wifi, comp bottle of wine
-Great indoor & outdoor jacuzzi
-Good restaurant on property
-Cleaning service is outstanding.
-Extremely peaceful with not a lot going on. This can be a negative for some but not for us.

Cons
-Rooms need a little updating. They're very clean but a bit tired.
-A bit difficult to get into Avon if you want to go into town for some local flavor.

Your amazing vacation starts with the Valet (the 2 valet parking guys) they are amazing! You feel like royalty! Watever you ask if they don't know they will find out for you! The room was fine and the robes a +! The pools are great and the Spa too. Front office is impecable. The cleaning crew hides behind the door, because you leave the room for a moment and the room is clean, fresh, and super nice in seconds! The location could not be better we walked everywhere and the charter bus is non stop (also with amazing frendly people working). This was a great vacation we enjoyed every moment.

We stayed here for a soccer tournament and the rooms, staff, breakfast buffet, firepit, front staff and valets were wonderful. Rooms were spacious and had everything we needed, very comfy. My only complaint was that there didn't seem to be any logic to how the rooms were numbered. We spent a lot of time trying to find people in each building and getting to various rooms. For example, we stayed in room 2330 (nice unit, by the way) which was on the fourth floor. By the 3rd day, when departing, we finally had things figured out. The hotel was generous with late checkout for our team which was very appreciated. Despite the fact that the hotel was full, we never had difficulty finding a parking spot. Great complex for large groups and teams, we'll be back next year

Wow where to begin with the Charter. We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite/ 2-bath suite for a business trip. It was building #1 abit far from the lobby and was confusing to get there the first time but had the route down by the end of the trip. The views are incredible! Breathtaking in the morning sipping coffee and watching the mist roll over the mountain peaks. We also where in the meeting space on the lower level. The food was fresh and yummy. I would highly recommend this hotel. On side note: When we first walked-in we noticed framed family photos. It gave me a start ( I thought I had walked into someones condo) but come to realize its a condo someone owns. There was a guest book to sign from the owners, which we did.

Room Tip: If you can ask for the rooms facing the mountains.
