My husband and I loved this place the moment we walked in. It had gorgeous art on the walls of each floor. It was a swank place that was in a good location to the ski hill with a ski concierge. The room was spacious with a kitchen and we were happy to dine in our beautiful room. The pool, hot tub, and steam room were fabulous! We will definitely come here again!

Room Tip: We had room 111 which overlooked the parking lot. Try to get something with a mountain view.

We have now stayed here for the past two Spring Break trips and we weren't ready to go home either time. From the fireplace in your room to the prompt and friendly service by all, ease of access to the ice rink, restaurants and slopes we were able to find plenty of time to unlax, stay warm, sip on hot chocolate, order room service, popped in a movie and spread out in our very clean, spacious and uplifting room. We will certainly go back!!

Room Tip: Through the Creekside suite window you have an excellent view of the fireworks on Thursday nights.

We spent our President's Day long weekend here and had an excellent experience. The hotel is right at the main entrance of Beaver Creek Village, with spacious suites, courteous services and an excellent concierge! The concierge helped arrange airport transportation, side trips to Vail and surrounding hotels and recommended restaurants. We had a very satisfying stay with our two small children and definitely will return!

Room Tip: Ask for an upper floor and a balcony.

Stayed over New Years and paid New Years prices. Rooms are large (it's an embassy suites). No lobby to talk of. Breakfast in adjoining restaurant was ok. Service average. Paid $35 / day for parking which was a little ridiculous. Usually stay at the Hyatt or osprey and will not return to the BCL.

My husband enjoyed this hotel. It is very reasonably priced for a resort hotel. The rooms were nice and spacious. There is a complimentary place to drop off your skis, where they will dry them and have them ready the next day. The lodge is also conveniently located near the village. You can also dress in your ski gear and head to the slopes. The lodge is located around the corner from the escalators that bring your straight to the slopes.

Room Tip: There were three couples in our group. All of us had different types of rooms. I was happy with ours...

Denise,
Thank you for your review and we are thrilled you and your friends enjoyed your stay and found us to be a value and conveniently located with all the village events. We do have different room types- Queen Suites, Double Queen rooms, King Suites and larger Condominiums with 3 bedrooms. Please call our reservations team on site when booking your next stay so we can explain all the options. Larger groups really love our large condos that have a full kitchen.
We look forward to seeing you soon and thank you again for the review.

My husband and I stayed here this summer for a "babymoon" when I was 7 months pregnant. Despite a nice location and nice room, the horrible customer service ruined the experience.

When you pay as much as you do for a room at the Beaver Creek Lodge, you expect a modicum of decency from hotel staff. It's supposed to be a relaxing getaway, right? At BCL, we experienced snotty attitudes from the front desk clerk who checked us in, the employee who disregarded the fact that the toaster in the room shorted out and started a fire, and all of the employees who failed to communicate or even apologize for a separate fire in the hotel our last morning.

After spending our third night on an incredibly lumpy and uncomfortable bed, we were awoken at 5:30 am by a fire alarm and told by an automated voice to leave our room immediately and we'd be notified when we could return. In our pajamas, we rushed outside with some of the other guests (some apparently didn't leave, as they watched us from their balconies the whole time) and waited for the firemen to take care of business. Though we stood outside waiting for 30 minutes beyond when the alarm went off and the firemen left, we were never communicated with by the hotel staff. No one ever gave us to the "go-ahead" to return to our room, no apology was made when we checked out a few hours later, in fact, no mention was ever made of the whole incident.

Add to that the fact that we were charged an addition $10 a night beyond what we were quoted when we booked the room, the pool only had 6 chairs for the whole hotel, the bed was horribly uncomfortable, the multiple requests we had to make to have our fireplace turned on, the faulty toaster in our room and the snobbish attitudes of the staff and we WILL NOT return to the hotel.

I contacted management about the poor experience, and I have yet to receive an apology for any of the ways in which the Beaver Creek Lodge ruined our last vacation before baby. It was a lovely setting and we had high hopes, but I would strongly advise you to save your money and stay elsewhere in the Vail Valley.

Lauren,
I apologize regarding the last response not reaching you, I believe you posted a review in July and I make sure to promply respond to every review but in this case there must have been a glich in the TripAdvisor system not posting for your review. Getting the proper rest, especially when you are expecting, is of utmost importance in order to enjoy your experience. I can understand your frustrations with the mattress and then the fire alarm in the morning. I can assure you that the property has never had a fire and our life-safety systems function as they should if any situations are detected. Our protocal is to ensure everyone is safe and secure should a situation exist. I do again apologize that I did not receive any other correspondence from you or I would have made contact and when looking in our reservations did not see anything that matched your profile so I could reach out to you with exception to the TripAdvisor posting that you did not recieve. Please feel free to contact me directly at 970-845-1715.
Thank you,
Kevin

We had a great week at Beaver Creek Lodge. The rooms are well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The small suite layout is great and gives you lots of room. The housekeeping is exceptional.
It is centrally located so access to restaurants, shopping is super easy.
The restaurant is excellent especially for breakfast. The dinner menu is good although a bit limited.
The hotel is located less than a 5 minute walk from the escalators that take you to the Centennial Chair.
This however is a bit of a sore point. Before we booked we inquired about ski in-ski out status. We were assured that it was. Make no mistake this is NOT a ski in-ski out property.
That said we would go back again as overall our stay was great.

Thank you for staying at the Beaver Creek Lodge and for taking the time to submit your review. I am sorry you didn't know about the ski in/out capabilities. The main lift is just a short walk away however we do have a lift you can ski to just across the street that is accessed through our main lobby. It is lift 14 or Elkhorn Lift and it gives you access to Strawberry Park lift or Bachelor Gulch- a really great location especially if you are wanting immediate access to Bachelor Gulch or Arrowhead. Best of all, there is never a line!
Please come back soon and I will be happy to show you that lift.
