Stopped in for tapas and cocktails. Very pricey cocktails and expensive soup, but the bartender was very charming.

“Too many spices hid flavor of the food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 August 2013

Thought this was expensive for what we got. All 3 dishes we tried had such a variety of spices that it hid the food... example: spiced beets. I could taste the cinammon and that was about it.
The goat cheese peppers were overwhelmed with the balsamic.
Service was nice, but I wouldn't go back.

“Great food, amazing service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2013

We had an amazing experience here on Tuesday. We had a 9:45 reservation, after the ballet performance at the Vilar center, which s nearby. When we got there five or ten juices before ten, there were no other customers there (this is a ver early area). We were going to leave and go to a later night place we knew in Vail, but they insisted we stay, and I can't imagine being treated more hospitably or generously. They told us not o worry about the time, the waiter and the hostess were incredibly welcoming. As we were ordering the chef came over to give us recommendations. He said he likes to talk to customers, but because they had been so busy before the performance, he didn't have a chance to talk to people before we got there. He made his recommendations, we made our selections, all delicious, particularly the lobster tacos, and we talked with him and our waiter throughout the evening. When they asked if we wanted dessert, we said no, we wanted to let them go home. But they urged us to order dessert, so we ordered an amazing flan, which the chef treated us to. One of the friendliest, lovely restaurant experiences I have ever had. Great food, lovely, edgy decor, incredible staff. Run, don't walk.

“Great Atmosphere But Really Weak Breakfast”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2013 via mobile

This looks like a cool place to be ... The truth is that the breakfast options are weak. The breakfast parfait, while good, is served in a plastic container from a cooler. Probably from Sysco. The breakfast burrito is good enough but nothing special. I can see how orher reviewers really like the Met later in the day. It has a cool vibe and I'd go back to check it out again at a different time of day. Breakfast seems like an after thought at the Met and better options lie elsewhere.

“Great place for a snack after a day in the hills”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2013 via mobile

Our family stopped in after bike riding for the day. Nice small plates of various foods. Nice atmosphere will cool decor. Full bar and good happy hour. Service was good as well. We all shared small plates, worth a try in the village.
