“Great bar food.”
Reviewed 17 March 2014

Was a little concerned when the waiter started zipping drink coasters like he was dealing cards, but he turned out to be a very attentive waiter. Food was very good bar food. A mix between American burger joint and Mexican cantina gave options for my whole family.
Burger was very good and the bun seemed toasted which was a nice surprise.
Taco mix and match was excellent and just the right size.
The place was a little loud but it is a bar.
The monster large screen TV showing Matchstick movies kept the kids busy as we oohed and ahhed at the tricks

“Great Margaritas and Fish Tacos”
Reviewed 16 March 2014

Great spot to stop for a bite to eat after a long, hard day of skiing on the mountain. We were exhausted at the end of our first day and the Coyote Cafe was a pleasant repreive to rejuvenate. We really enjoyed the margaritas…they have lots of different varieties, and the wait staff was very nice and friendly. There is also a nice outdoor area that lends itself to some great people watching. We would definitely make a return visit!

“Yummy!”
Reviewed 8 March 2014 via mobile

Not sure why this is #39 on the list. A nice break from the $$$$ restaurants in Beaver Creek. Everything I've had here has been very tasty. Very ample portions. Yummy margaritas! The wait staff is very laid back, friendly and extraordinarily efficient. You can tell that they like where they work!!

“Good value for money”
Reviewed 12 December 2013

We decided to stop here for lunch and take a break from skiing- so close to the slopes! The restaurant was not very crowded because it was still low season and we were served right away. We ordered the chicken tortilla soup and pulled pork sandwich. Both were excellent! The waitress even brought hot water for my daughter who was freezing. Our lunch was so good that we decided to come back the next day. This time we ordered the chili and a chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla was delicious, but the chili had a strange taste- almost like it had been cooked too long. Also the beef in it had a weird consistency of taco meat. We also ordered a hot chocolate that the waiter forgot about. After finishing our meal (except the chili), the owner came to our table and apologized for the soup. He offered to make something else for us and also apologized for the hot chocolate. Being that we were full, we only asked for the hot chocolate and the owner took the chili off our bill and didn't charge for the hot chocolate. Besides the chili, this restaurant is great for the price and location and had great customer service!

“Great apres place!”
Reviewed 11 December 2013

We went into the coyote one day for apres and it was a good time. we got chips and salsa/guac and some margaritas. Our service that day was reallly good too, a girl named Jess. The next time we went, we met my brother for dinner. We couldn't find a table and the server was so rude. We had to ask 4 times for anything and at one point we had to give up on more water. I wouldn't go here just for dinner... portions are pretty small and they dont have that big of a variety. Definitely would suggest for a fun apres or late night spot if you want drinks and a crowd.
