Description: Our Centennial Buffet allows you to dine from Italy to China. Or you can choose to feast on traditional American or Mexican fare or even our all-you-can-eat crab extravaganza. And the sumptuous dessert bar is not to be missed. But no matter how far you travel, in a culinary sense, the restaurant's décor, with its hand-hewn timbers, wrought iron fixtures, and majestic stone columns will bring you right back to Colorado and its rustic charm.

“Wonderful Brunch”

The Saturday & Sunday brunch is wonderful. Lots of variety & of course the dessert bar is out of this world. No problem not finding something you love!

“Love the seafood”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

Love the weekend seafood but wish they had it on other days, too. Coffee is great, and so are the desserts, but the crab and shrimp are tops on my list.

“Average buffet”
Reviewed 4 November 2013

Had to wait about 45 minutes in line to be seated. There was a good variety of food choices, with some being good and the rest just average. The crab legs were not hot, rather some were lukewarm and some were cool. The prime rib was very tasty, but the person at the carving station was cutting very small pieces. One gentleman had to put his plate back five times to get what he considered a decent serving. I also asked for more. We had the feeling that they were trying to ration it to make it last longer, as we were there later in the evening. The Cioppino looked great and was chock full of a variety of seafood, but the broth was bland and lacked flavor.

The service was good for a buffet. Drinks were refilled quickly and used dishes were promptly removed.

We had decided to try the Ameristar buffet because another buffet we used to frequent in Blackhawk was mediocre the last time we were there. While this one was okay, the next time we visit we will likely likely try another option as we search for the best in Blackhawk.

“Very nice buffet!”
Reviewed 24 October 2013

This buffet was very nice. We enjoyed dinner here. The food was very good; there is a very nice variety of choices for most any palate, the servers were very attentive, and the price competitive for similar buffets in the area.

“Great Buffet”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

We went to the buffet and the food was great. You get a large variety of food and everything that I have had was very good. The desert bar has a wonderful selection if you like sweets. They have a chocolate fountain and you really need to try that if you've never done it. I love Mexican and Asian food and both are wonderful. I highly recommend trying the buffet.

Thanks for your recommendation, Carol and thank you for dining with us. Hard to miss the chocolate fountain, isn't it?!
