Being from a humid lowland state riding the Boulder Creek Path from Central Park to the west end was an exhilarating dash along side the rushing ice water creek! This is about a 4.5 mile round trip that can be run on just about any type of bike. The ride down is high speed so check your tires and brakes before attempting. Beautiful scenery all the way.

We had a fantastic time tubing down the Boulder Creek and then carrying our tubes back up along the Boulder Creek Path. Several great places to put in and take out your tubes depending on how far you would like to float. Several rapids along the way. We had an 8 and 11 year old with us and they had a great time. Recommend life vests and possibly even helmets.

The Boulder creek path is a great path to walk, hike, bike, etc. and has great scenery. You can choose to go a short distance or for many miles based on your preferences.

If you like a quiet walk, sitting by the water, or reading a good book in the shade there are places along Boulder Creek during the week that are excellent spots. Keep in mind this path goes a way up into Boulder Canyon, so you can get away from the crowd. If you're more adventurous go up to the Betasso and hike or mountain bike the views are spectacular... and your cell phone will get signal.
