I've eaten here half a dozen times even though it's mediocre. I go because it is very pretty and has a sophisticated ambience and isn't crowded. It's fun to sit on the few seats outside and watch people walk by. It's reasonably priced. If the food was better it would be packed.

Disappointed with the sparse wine list to begin with. The chicken was tough (could not cut it) and slathered in some overly salty chicken-gravy-like sauce. The pizza my husband ordered was passable. The kicker ... Our generally absent waiter came and picked up our check before we had finished our meal. Tacky.

Group event. Served family style. Some guests at many tables did not get food, nor were the platters refilled. Tiramisu was wonderful -- had to cut one serving piece into four bites because there was not enough food for the table. Had to flag down service staff to obtain water every time. This shouldn't happen. Serving utensils were not given with many platters and bowls. One spoon to serve the entire table? No bread with your salad or meal. Disappointing.

Have almost always been during happy hour and ordered off of happy hour menu. Food quality, prep, welcoming service, pleasant atmosphere, comfort and value for many organic ingredients were always very good + to excellent. My 12 year old gourmand son often requests that we visit for pizza, soup and desert. Menu does change so if you are picky call to verify what you see on website. Overall quality at a fair price.

Dropped into Pastavino for dinner last weekend, they were quite busy but slipped us in without a reservation. The food was great, ravioli was better then the spinach pasta dish (which was a bit blah). Wines were all reasonable priced and tasty. Tiramisu was very good. Service started strong but ended a bit weak. Overall a nice place to eat some good pasta.
