Description: An Irish pub is the stuff of legends, just as Irish thirst is legendary. Pubs in Ireland are much more than a place for drinking, they are a social experience, part theatre, part debating chamber and part livingroom. The pub often seems an extension of the living room and in many rural parts of Ireland also act as the local shop-one corner serving butter and eggs and the other serving foaming glasses of stout. Our aim at Conor O'Neill's is to bring to Boulder a truly authentic traditional Irish Pub.

“It was better the first time”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

This was our second visit...not as good as the first time.
The service was great the Guinness is always great, but the food was very disappionting.
I think we will skip it the next time we are in Boulder.

“It's all about the music”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

The only reason we go is for the traditional Irish music session on Sundays (when we can). Usually I just have a couple beers (Guinness, Harp, and Murphy's on tap) and an appetizer. I had the onion curry dip with potato wedges on Sunday and it was REALLY good. The menu has changed in the last several mos. and it's gotten better I think. We always take someone who's never been there before and everyone has just loved the music as well as the food. My wife had a strawberry rhubarb dessert with ice cream and she just loved it.

“Irish-themed, NOT Irish”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

Been to Conor's many times over the years, and the place is getting very aged. It needs some major paint and cleaning and remodel work. Yes, the restaurant has an Irish theme, but it is not an "Irish" bar.

Food is just okay, and service - well, depends on the server. Some of the staff are excellent (especially if you have a seat at the bar), some of the staff don't really want to be there.

“Fun place for happy hour or dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2014

Try the Black and Tan onion rings--great flavor! Fish and chips are very tasty--crunchy outside with moist fish inside--served with a great sauce. Great place to meet friends.

“NOT THE GREASTEST IRISH FOOD”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2014

The Irish food especially the corn beef and cabbage was awful, it was very dry and over cooked. It as the worse corn beef and cabbage I have had. The Irish breakfast was too spicey. One does not put hot spice in an Irish breakfast.
