“Eh?”
Reviewed 10 February 2012

We reserved various accomodations throughout Summit and Eagle County for this years ski vacation. We did have an enjoyable experience here last year, but it appears the attitude of the staff has since changed.

Some positives; housekeeping was wonderful and always tended to us at our earliest convenience. The rooms were nice and well-kept.

Charter sports (which is located on site) was very convenient for ski rentals. This staff was very helpful, unlike the front desk staff which seemed to roll their eyes at any inquiries or special requests.

Definitely a high price to pay for the rooms and certainly not for quality customer service.

Room Tip: Ask the front desk for elevator directions to the room. It seems there are several that take you to...

we spent 17 nights at BlueSky Breckenrdige over the Christmas / New Year period and had a wonderful time.
The location is excellent being able to walk right out the door to the Snowflkae lift, after putting on boots dried in the boot room, you walk out and find your skis out ready for you to pick up off the charter Sports shops racks.

The staff at BlueSky were always helpful, from the concierge Jan through to the shuttle drivers nothign was toom uch problem and they were always offering great local tips and advise to make our stay better.

We rented Condo 305 through VRBO and the owner Kirsten was also super helpful, even posting us trail maps, town maps and info to us in Australia to help us prepare for our trip.

Great time we will be back...

My husband, stepdaughter and I just finished a four night stay. We were very impressed with everything the property had to offer. Keith, the general manager, was extremely accommodating. We rented gear from
Charter Sports, which is on property. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Everything on our ski vacation wish list was satisfied: ski in/ski out, washer/dryer in unit, kitchen, convenience to town, and an overall nice, if not elegant, feeling. The only negatives that I could find--and they certainly are not a big deal--is that the building is hot (crack a window in your bedroom at night) and the pool area set up is a little difficult (there are no hooks for robes/towels; we had to drop ours in the snow). Seriously, not a big deal. We really liked having two humidifiers in the unit--very helpful! We truly loved our stay at BlueSky and we will definitely return.

We spent January 3-8 at a two bedroom blue sky condo. It was appointed beautifully and had every ammenity we needed. The ski locker room and valet service is an exceptional convenience. Only negative, and it had nothing to do with Blue Dky accomodations, was the snowflake run to return to the condo each evening was a serious upper and lower body cross country workout.Overwhelmingly we would recommend this condo to all. Great stay!

Our family stayed in a 2 bedroom condo at the beginning of summer. The location was great. We could walk right out and go hiking through the mountains. The main area of town was just a short walk down the hill. The condos are amazing. Very well designed, clean, and roomy. The common areas are very nice and beautiful. Pool and hot tubs were great. Indoor private parking for each condo is a big plus. Staff was great and accommodated us with every request we had. We booked through Resort Quest and had private concierge service through them. It was perfect. We enjoyed everything about the stay and the whole family keeps asking to go back again.

We booked this through a third party vendor and the particulars that we needed were not in the unit that had been saved for us. We needed the second bedroom to have two beds as we have two teens of the opposite sex. The staff gladly took us to see all of the units available for our days there and we chose what was best for us. We have stayed here now for 3 years and loved it all three times. We go early December so it is usually quiet and most of the time we don't see an other guests. We almost always have the jacuzzi to ourselves. They have three large ones and a pool there which is heated but not warm. There is a game room and a work out room close to the pool/jacuzzi. It is nice to have a ski/board rental place right in the building and they give a discount for staying there so it is essentially the same price as anywhere else. The Snowflake lift is right out the door so it is a true ski out. To ski in you have to cross the road but it is only about 50 yards. We always rent a car in Denver and they have heated underground parking which is included in the price. If you don't have a car they have a complimentary shuttle anywhere downtown and back - just call them. There is a washer/dryer in each unit (I think) and a gas fireplace. They have movies you can check out for free and two computers for guest use with printers for your boarding passes, etc. There is no restaurant on site. We always go downtown for dinner anyway and make our own breakfasts. If you wanted, there is a delivery service in town that will get your food from any restaurant and deliver. Not just pizza. We have always found it to be well kept and clean and our beds have always been great. We will go again next year.

Room Tip: Lower floors with even numbers don't have much of a view. Top floor has vaulted ceilings.

My husband and I decided on a Breckenridge getaway for my 52nd birthday. We could not have been more pleased with Blue Sky. We didn 't realize that the season started a week later. So, we were disappointed in not being able to snowmobile. But, it had snowed for the first time that year which was great for us being me are from Mississippi and don't get snow much. The condo was very spacious (proabably 1200 sq ft) , beautifully decorated, top of the line applliances, hardwood floors and the finest of everything. The parking garage was heated and an elevator was very close and fast. The staff was more than helpful. All of the imentities were in the room, even a humidifier which I highly recommend you start using immediately due to the altitude. I highly recommend this property to you. It's a little out of town. It has a shuttle to take you to town which is no more than 2 blocks and a ski lift. We didn't try the spa but heard it was better than the ones downtown,
