Beautiful home in the Colorado mountains. Would please the entire family and friends. Close to ski areas, hiking and biking trails.. this home has it all.. family area to play games, watch tv, or just visit. Spa in the woods, along with a large fire pit.. like to BBQ? large deck with BBQ to enjoy outdoor eating..
We'll be back.. Thanks to homeowner for the time he took to give us ideas for day trips and helping us to make the most of our vacation
This home captures the best of Breckenridge from the Rocky Mountain views to the soaring ceiling and beautiful gas ceiling to floor fireplace in the living room. We went for a family reunion with five couples and found luxury accommodations and plenty of space for all with a wonderful living room open to a well appointed dining room and kitchen with touches of copper from the counters to the ceiling. This place has great mountain views through the through the walls of glass in the living room and right outside from the spacious deck with comfortable seating, where we saw deer and a fox keeping its distance! Down a naturalistic rock path there is a new and well maintained hot tub and outdoor rock fire pit which we enjoyed with the nice seating. John, the host, when called on was very conscientous and responsive. This one was a rare find!
This house and location was excellent. Not to far of a drive from town. Very peaceful and large enough for our 17 member family!
I love this house! Was sad we didn't stay longer. I love that the lodge feels very private surrounded by trees on a mountainside but that downtown Breckenridge is just down the hill. I can only imagine what the trees look like in the Fall! The summer was pretty gorgeous too though - warm days, cool nights. There was enough space in the house for my extended family of 12 to spread out and coexist peacefully! The hot tub was a big hit. We had a few pool tournaments. Conquered my first 14er. The house has a very rustic feel with a beautiful wrap around porch which quickly became my morning coffee spot. Really hope we can get everyone together again next year for reunion number 2! Thank you, John, for the hospitality!
Location and house is amazing! The owner was incredibly kind and made our stay nothing short of perfect. Plenty of room to sleep, great views from the deck and kitchen is beautiful. Will definitely stay again if heading to Breckenridge.
The Space Wrangler was the nicest mountain lodging I've stayed in. John was a great host and had everything ready to go for us. The house and all the finishes are beautiful. The kitchens and bathrooms are top grade. There might be a fight over the master suite though as it was stunning.
The hot tub which is just a few steps outside the house was awesome. It's such a luxury to have your own private hot tub that you don't have to share with a bunch of kids. There is plenty of space between you and the neighbors so you don't have to worry about hearing anyone else or bothering anyone else.
The basement is a completely separate living level. It's got a complete finished kitchen, two bedrooms that could sleep 6-8 people and an awesome game room.
We had a group of five guys, which was way less than this place can hold. This place can easily accommodate 12-14 adults. We were here in the winter with tons of snow, but I could see this being an awesome place to stay in the summer.
Where to start?!? Space Wrangler was ENORMOUS and well appointed from top to bottom. Beautiful log cabin style construction. Awesome open concept first floor with a spacious living room complete with six huge picture windows, stone fireplace, vaulted cathedral ceilings, and stained glass mural, that opens up to a huge eat-in kitchen with copper ceiling and countertops, and stainless appliances. Upstairs features a private bed and bath, plus a unique hammock chair that overlooks the oversized back porch and peaks of Breckenridge above the treetops that line the property. Two beds and a stylish zen-like bath complete the first floor....but the best is yet to come. Downstairs is ANOTHER full kitchen, bar area, wine room, and living area with pool table and shuffleboard. Down the hall is a bunk room and additional guest room and bathroom for the lower level. Just a few steps out the back doors is an amazing 5 person hot tub! Perfect for soaking tired muscles after a long day skiing or hiking! Bottom line...this place is unreal. If you don't want to stay there, call me...I'll GLADLY come back!
