This is a beautiful and new slope side home that is as nice in person as it is in the pictures. We traveled to Breckenridge and chose this home because of how it looked but most importantly because it was a "ski in/out" home. It is clean and modern, great kitchen and living although a little small for 8 people to sit comfortably. The hot tub was fantastic and they do a nice job keeping it clean!
We were 2 families, 4 adults and 4 kids ages 13 and 14 years old. We wanted a place they could jump on and off the mountain without mom and dad transporting back and forth. WELL, that's not what we got here. Can you ski out of the house, yes....you have to walk across the road, and through the back parking lot of the condo's there, put on your skis and off you go down a beginner run. That part is not perfect but ok.
Here's the hard part, in order to ski "IN" to the house, you need to take a chair lift up to Peak 10 which services expert runs only, then at the bottom, look for an unmarked trail that will take you behind the condo's across the street. If you're like us and don't have kids or adults that ski expert runs, this is NOT A SKI IN HOME! We ended up driving every morning down to Peak 9 chair lift or the Gondola and skiing out of the car each day. This NOT what we wanted and were so very disappointed.
The Master Bedroom does not have it's own private bathroom and shares it with the other bedroom on the top floor. One other annoying thing about the house is there is not a lot of room when you walk in through the garage for everyone to hang their stuff, sit and get dressed for a day of skiing. An no hooks on the wall for all the "stuff". Like I said, just annoying little thing.
