“Crazy convenient”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

We stayed at the 2BR, 2.5 Bath Condo Townhouse #516. Just cross the street and you are at the Snowflake lift! Rental shop next to the lift gave us 30% rental equipment discount and 50% on renting out helmets. All the shops and restaurants are 2 blocks down the hill. Location couldn’t be any better and paying premium for it was definitely worthy. You won't need a car so taking a shuttle from Denver airport is the best option. If you do drive, there is a heated covered free garage.

Make a massage appointment as soon as you check in. We were really pleased with the masseuse. Massage room is in the main building together with community room with board games, tables and fire place and a hot tub with dry sauna. Outdoor hot tub was out of service in February but we used the indoor one couple times after a day of skiing.

The townhouse itself has plenty of space and is very cozy with its gas fireplace. We were 3 adults but you can easily fit couple more. Kitchen was well equipped with fridge, oven and dishwasher and it was convenient to also have a washer and dryer. The beds were on the smaller side (full/queen?) and that would be our only complaint if you are used to a king size.

Front desk employees very extremely nice and provided us with odd things we needed like phone charger or scissors.

We are already planning to come back next winter. Skiing in Breckenridge is crazy windy but top quality.

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Wedgewood Lodge this past Feb 2014, our first visit being Jan 2012. Both times were great. The staff are always very helpful and friendly, and the rooms are exactly what you would hope for and expect. Being able to walk across the street for equipment, lift tickets and the Snowflake Ski Lift are luxuries that are hard to put a price on. We are already looking forward to going back Feb 2015! My only complaint would be the fold out couch/bed. The bed was very uncomfortable, but being so worn out from skiing helped us sleep soundly anyway.

Recently stayed here to do some skiing at Breckenridge and this lodge worked out great. The rooms were clean and well equipped, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was great–right across the street from one of the lifts. All-around it was a great experience!!

Had a quick weekend and couldn't have asked for a better place. It was very spacious had all the amenities as described. In fact, for the price I thought we had a ton of space. They also have a great "lodge" public area with very nice leather couches, fireplace, and television(would be perfect for a big group. My wife and I stayed in room 202 and it was a one bedroom w/ full kitchen. We also had a friend staying with us(up from denver) and she was blown away by the space and she slept on the couch(which has a pull out sleeper if you need). The entire staff are wonderful and you can tell they take pride in their facility. Parking is underground and very convenient. The hot tub area is very nice as well. Will be back without a doubt!! Also, it is very clean and not too noisy at all...While I am by no means old(30), I do appreciate being able to ski in and have a comfortable place to relax without having to bang on the walls to keep springbreakers or college groups at bay. Very family friendly!

Room Tip: try to get in the main building...as it will offer all the amenities without having to walk outside!

Great lodge, with an awesome location.

The apartment is will laid out and clean. The girls at the front desk are super friendly and very accommodating. I had to leave my gear to get picked up and they were more than willing to help out.

Minutes to the Snowflake lift and right on the bus route to town.

Thoroughly recommend Wedgewood!

Love this place and I will bring my family back here next winter. I had Room 206, which is a spacious studio with a queen and a kitchen. Very convenient underground parking, which is a huge plus in Breck in the winter. Kate was working the front desk when I arrived and was very helpful and cool. She Recommended the ski rental place right across the street where Wedgewood guests get 30% off. She also recommended Angel's Hollow, a wild little place one block off of Main with great food and a fun festive atmosphere! The best thing about this hotel is how convenient the place is. One minute to the Snowflake Chairlift, which is also right by the ski rental place and a lift ticket window. Five minute walk to Main Street.

If you are skiing back via Four-O'Clock Run don't miss the sign for the turn off to Snowflake Lift, or you will be walking back from Park Street with all your stuff ! (Ask me how I know this).

Easy walk to town and to snowflake lift. Free city shuttle is right outside. Clean facility and nice rooms. They don't have hair driers and our kitchen didn't have a pair of scissors. Parking under ground was perfect too!
