“A romantic getaway”
Reviewed 30 November 2011

The whole experience was great from the start. The desk person not only checked us in but gave suggestions on where to eat that night and some local spots for food and fun. I believe that his name was David. He was very professional and quite helpful. The room was spectacular with a view of the village and of the mountains. We tried the the hot tub and pool and were very satisfied. The whole experience was excellent and we plan on returning!

Room Tip: There isn't a bad view, but ask for a higher floor so you don't look at the air conditioners

The Marriott in Breckenridge has a great location for skiing, hiking and walking into Breckenridge. The hotel is a bit confusing to get around in, and needs some updating, but it served our needs for a couple nights in June, while passing thru the area.

The room was functional, but a bit small. The staff was adequate. It was clean and the room had a very nice view of the lake and mountains, but the room was older for a Marriott and needs some updating (carpet, painting, etc). Because it was summer, we got a good value. Not sure it's worth a high price for a vacation during high season.

Just spent one night here over Veterans Day Weekend. We had a one bedroom condo with full kitchen, livingroom & 2 baths, and it was very comfortable. There were 3 of us but it could have slept 6 people. The location is great, within walking distance to shops and resteraunts.
All of the staff I met were very friendly and helpful. There is free parking next door and you really don't need to use your car once you get there.
We had an awesome breakfast at the Columbine Cafe which was reccomended by Erin at the front desk.
I would stay here again when I revisit Breckenridge.

We had a great rate staying in the "off season" our room was very spacious and we did utilize the kitchen which was full - had a big fridge, stove/oven, microwave. We were very pleased! We had a studio suite, did not use the sofa sleeper but did enjoy tv from bed which was nice. You could turn the TV either way, might be an issue if you are trying to watch tv from sofa sleeper & the bed! The shower had nice water pressure and we liked that the toilet/shower/sink were in each separate room so we could continue getting ready/showering/using the rest room without interrupting each other.

The only complaint I had was that the room did not have conditioner or lotion available, just soap and shampoo. Although I realize that most people may be there on extended stay and come prepared with supplies I was not so lucky. I actually did not call the front desk to see if they could bring to me, as it was too late when I discovered this but it's did not put a damper on my stay.

Overall the hotel was very nice and the view of the mountains was fabulous!
Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at this resort. Beautiful place. The view from our room was absolutely amazing!! We stayed in the Bighorn building. We had a luxury studio unit. Bed was very comfortable. Liked the whirlpool tub in bathroom. Kitchen was clean and very well furnished ,with nice appliances. Staff was very helpful and very friendly. Close to shopping and great dining places.( we walked to most all the places....as it is that close to everything. Parking in garage beneath building. (Free) Breckenridge is SO beautiful. Did some hiking near resort and saw some breathtaking views! Looking forward to going there again!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the mountains. Luxury studio in Bighorn was quiet and very nice.

My wife and I checked in here on a Monday and checked out Friday in mid-October. We had a one-bedroom suite on the sixth floor (7 floors total) overlooking the pool area as well as the mountains.

Our room was huge. It had a couch as well as a very large day bed in the main area. There is a flat-screen television in this area. There is a very large bathroom to serve that section - with doors separating the bathroom itself from the living area as well as a door separating the toilet as well as a door separating the bath-shower space.

A nice sized eat-in kitchen with newer appliances, glasses and cutlery was in-between that space and the bedroom.

The bedroom contained a king-size bed with great linens, a flat-screen tv and a roomy bathroom with a deep whirlpool tub/shower. The room was stocked with plenty of towels.

The health club features state-of-the-art Precor strength, treadmills and elipticals. The large outdoor pool area is open year-round and features 3-4 sunken whirlpools and is a great place to unwind and catch some sun as well as there are plenty of new aluminum patio chaises.

Rooms include underground parking for one vehicle. If you have additional vehicles I believe they have a separate offsite parking area. Free AT&T high speed wireless internet is available.

This is one well-run resort - everything is neat and well-maintained and the staff couldn't have been any friendlier or more accomodating. We plan to return in the future.

Room Tip: We requested and received a higher floor when we made our reservation. Higher here equals a better v...

Stayed for three nights with co-workers. Had a one bedroom villa which was very spacious, even for this spoiled traveler! The bedroom had an enormous closet - literally fifteen adults could have stood in it! Bedroom area itself was large; and room has its own balcony, bathroom, tv and lounge chair. Kitchen aea had large rfrigerator and fully stocked dishes, utensils and and accessories ( blender, etc). Also a round dining table. Living room area had couch and table, balcony and also a day bed and a television. Could have slept at least 6 peole comfortably!!! Town itself had many great shos and restaurants. The Chinese food in town was excellent! Wished it had A/C - but no hotels in Summit County have A/Cs. But just opened the balcony doors, and there was some great cool air.

Room Tip: Go for the one bedroomj units.
