We stayed in a mountain veiw room at the Lodge & Spa at Breckenridge in September 2013 The veiw was awesome, breakfast is just a short trek through the lobby and the weeknight rate was fair. It has a true rustic lodge like feel complete w/a small kitchen area, coffee maker. There is no air conditioner but the windows open & it has a ceiling fan. As with most places the same room was/is $50+ more per night on weekends. We'd stay here again!!

Room Tip: Stay during the week for the best rates & get a room w/ a view!

We stayed during the off season but was surprised that they were still fully staffed and fully booked with other guests. The view from our room was amazing. The main lobby was large, bright, and inviting, with several checker boards and a central fireplace. The room that we stayed in had a king bed, a gas fireplace, a kitchenette with coffee maker, and the most amazing view to wake up to. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the mornings was very good, not overly fancy but for it being complimentary, it was as good as one could ever find. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and always willing to help. I will absolutely stay again when I am in the area.

We stayed at the Lodge & Spa at Breckenridge this weekend for our anniversary, and it was a fantastic experience. We booked last-minute through Whitney, who was super helpful in describing the room and potential for noise from a wedding. She made sure we got in a great room for our weekend away.

Upon arriving, we realized the reviews don't lie - the views are amazing. We LOVED the view from room 201, where we stayed, which showed a full panorama of the mountains and Breckenridge resort. The room had a fireplace, comfy chairs for reading, a comfortable bed and sufficient TV. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tubs, solitude and lack of people. Whitney had warned us that sometimes it can get noisy with weddings, but we didn't hear the ceremony or reception at all. The little kitchenette was great, allowing us to order food in a couple of times so we could truly just enjoy the getaway.

My only negative thoughts would be that the pillows weren't super-comfortable and there's no oven with the kitchenette, which ruined our plans for cinnamon rolls :) However, they do serve breakfast every morning, which although it wasn't anything spectacular, did help to get our days started with full bellies.

We would absolutely stay here again. From the cozyness of the room, to the friendly staff, to the amazing views and great ambiance of the lodge - it was a win across the board. The Lodge & Spa at Breckenridge will definitely beat out pricier similar accommodations we've stayed at in Vail and Beaver Creek. Thanks for an excellent anniversary weekend!

Room Tip: Room 201 - Mt. Wilson, is on the end so has fantastic views.

Stayed at the Lodge end of September, and it was surprisingly full (sold out actually) for off season. We had a basic king forest (non-mountain) view room. It was a bit on the small side, rustic in decor but quite comfortable. It had a pretty patio with chairs and a partial view of the mountains. The hot tub was fun with a great view (you get the same great view in the dining room as well). Too bad no alcohol is allowed, it would be a fun place for a cocktail. The included breakfast was OK- breads/bagels to toast, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and waffle maker. Coffee was pretty watery. The front desk staff is friendly, no luggage assistance offered. No frills but loved the location.

Thank you so much for taking a moment to share your experience here at The Lodge. We are so appreciative that you were pleased with our staff. The service to our guests is the pinnacle of guest experience in our opinion.
Funny you should mention alcohol, as we have a full-scale reinvigoration planned for The Lodge - including the development of bar and restaurant facilities, as well as breakfast. Within the next year, this will be the place to have a cocktail.
We hope your travels bring you back to Breckenridge, and we would be honored to consider you a return guest to The Lodge.

All the Best!

This is a lovely hotel in a gorgeous location. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Special kudos to Karen at the front desk. There are no mini fridges or microwaves in the rooms, but you stay here for the ambience. The continental breakfast was a nice touch. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: Get a mountain view room.
